Sorry for your loss, PF

PaleFigure,

I'm saddened to learn of your loss. Know that I'm thinking of you and send you big and long warm petting hugs, buddy

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, PF. I lost my father a while back, and I sympathize with you in this tough time. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we're all here for you anytime you need us.

Keep your head up,
Lou

Really sorry to hear it.

My dad died from a stroke, as well. Sometimes it takes a while for the grief to set in, and it can kinda sneak up on you without following the expected timetable...

Take care.

You're just in shock PF, hence the lack of tears.
Been there, and all I got in return was this lousy t-shirt.

Hey Valas - you'll treasure that t-shirt always Smile

Not really, would rather have the person in question back. Sad

Thank you to everyone for your kind messages. I genuinely didn't expect to get so many beautiful responses. I was on my own when I got the news so I just needed to share it with people I trusted.

I've said it before, I'll say it again.
You guys totally rock.

But I'll be ok. I think a part of my "calmness" is due to my own personal beliefs about death and what happens to a person afterwards. While I'm sad that I won't get to see or be with my father anymore, i know that there is no need to actually worry or be sad about where he is now, because I know he's fine. Where he is now, he's perfectly ok and has no worries.

I just wanted to say thanks to you all.

PF
