Aglaura residents who just happened to be walking by the new Public Library building a couple of nights ago were treated to a strange and unexplainable "show", seeming coming from within the Library building itself.
"I've lived here all my life," said an Aglaura resident who wished to remain anonymous, "But I've never heard or seen anything like that." He went on to describe unusual lights that he claims "came right through the walls" like somebody was "shining a flashlight through a tent wall." Another resident who was walking with the man denied seeing any lights of any kind but did confirm hearing the same strange sounds also reported by the man. Identifying herself only as "Delores", she described the sounds like fingernails on a blackboard only amplified hundreds of times. "It was like someone was trying to claw their way right out of the Library, as if their life depended on it. It was terrible." Delores said.
Aglaura Police responded to several calls around the Library area for various unusual phenomena but declined to file any reports or follow-up on any of the calls. "There were just way too many discrepancies between all the different reports," said Aglaura Police Chief Dawn Prufrock. "There wasn't any two supposed witnesses that could even agree with each other, so there was nothing to follow up."
Aglaura Head Librarian Agatha Dobbs declined to answer any questions about the event but did say with a twinkle in her eye, "It sounds like there just may be a story there. And what better place for a story then a Library!"
