Funny, but I got this too while trying out the 88 modern Constellations. I think it is just a glitch in the system where the page refreshes itself every time you submit an answer. The "You have not met the challenge. Use your colony to solve the puzzle" shows up automatically when your answer was wrong, but someone else from the team solved it in the meantime, thus adding the "Congratulations, you're team has already answered correctly. You're closer to the truth."

I came up with the answer after seeing what I had done (dots on three lines, meeting at a single point) taken one step further with the circles posted by Rip2roar. That lead to the thought of orbits, which made the logic jump to Planet X as being a likely answer once I counted the dots.

Obviously I wasn't the first (since I only gained 10 points for my colony), but I didn't find the answer elsewhere, if that helps.
