XD Well, I see we lost 90% of the world in 2003 from this thing then. =P And I'd like an explaination as to -how- something four times the size of Earth can orbit the sun at such a trajectory, as well as manage to keep in that trajectory. To quote RvB:

I think he is saying that the add on this publication was printed before the Challenge was released... so therefore it must have been posted as a clue by gamem8ker or someone related to game with prior knowledge of the puzzle's answer.

Although the circulation date on the PDF is May 4 - May 10, it is not unreasonable to assume that the document must have been edited / printed / distributed days or even weeks prior to release date.

Assuming the add was really published and is not a home-made fabrication by a clever fanboy, there's a few posibilities of what this could mean:

1-The add was planted directly by Gamem8ker, in which case we should start looking at this kind of media for clues.
2-The add was planted by THX, in which case we should toruture him until he spits out the truth.
3-The add was planted weeks ago by a colony named Nibiru, when the upload pic phase of the game was still active.

If you ask me, number 3 is the most plausible reason. If we can verify the existance of a Nibiru Colony, we can lay this one to rest. Worth following up IMO.

Perhaps the gamem8ker(s?), and other colony creators, and friends of said gamem8ker; Originally come from this niburu (fictionally of course). Do you think this could be the premise for the story of this game? They could be actively part of the new xbox live community. Setting up challenges and contests for people. Highscores to beat, screenshots to collect. I could see this as an ongoing experience, rather than a 1shot ARG. "This is not an alternate reality game"

The blog spot is getting nuts again. I think it is completely in game still, i never did fully agree that it was OOG, but i have speculated about it since the enzo incident.

The answer to the "push the button" challenge was in gamem8ker's myspace blog like 2 weeks before it was a challenge answer. Perhaps the answers to all, or at least more, of the challenges have been up before the challenge was posed.
