Major Nelson was giving away tickets to the unveiling with some sort of raffle dealy. So that's where the winners came from. It was in his blogcast like a week or two back.

About the xbox logo....i have a weird feeling about it...why would microsoft publically show the logo beforehand when the "unveiling" is supposed to happen on the 12th? I reckon this isn't the real logo and was just used as a backdrop and to get interest going. Especially as it just said "xbox" rather than whatever its new name will be!
