Hmmm, well I'm guessing I solved it at least for ARGolonists, as I got the whole 10 points message - but I guess some other team solved it just before, as they got the 110 points Sad

Good work Starf, I'm sure that, like me, you spent the last 20 minutes trying to fit the numbers 3, 10 and 2000 into the answer box!

Yeah.

seperated by dashes,dot,spaces, the lot!

If only I had thought to put a 0 in front of the 3 I would've solved it about 2 minutes into those 20!

Now I know why things like this are called ARGs. Its because when someone points out something obvious you missed you scream "ARRRRRRGGGGG!!" out loud in frustration!

grrrrr i slept through this challenge.

But to point out the obvious about the reward pic:
the power button is exactly as the one in the "leaked" xbox 360 image
and
I iterpret this image as saying the xbox 360 will either come in different designs or be theamable (as in changable plates for the power button and inferably other things)

Hi there, I'm part of the Argolonists and have only recently found this site which is pretty interesting, to me the reward pic does hav an 'R' on the right although the middle circle, looking like the supposed xbox 360 logo is covering a part of it, also the power button pics are arranged to form an 'X' although its not very clear. The bottom left power button seems to have a screen shot of a next generation game being worked on, I belive its called Condemned although I heard it will be a ps3 game here is a link to some screens:

http://www.ps3forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=1910

it looks to me like part of the first pic was used as the backround for the powerbutton on the bottom left powerbutton pic in the ourcolony reward screen.
It may be completey wrong however, just thought i'd give me ideas Smile

we have 5 days left ppl. if we get a challenge a day from now on including an early FINAL CHALLENGE on the 12th, then wed have 5 more left. any speculation as to what the letters might spell out given that we now have a letter R? heres a link to the proper thread.

Well, some of the power buttons are easy

Top left: Atari
Bottom right: Bungie
Center: Xbox 360, obviously

I'm not sure about the bottom left and top right though.

It must be the "customizable faceplates" for Xbox 360 that I've been hearing about. I wouldn't be surprised if the buttons weren't the only areas for those funky designs.

Maybe the remaing buttons are for the game titles to be released with the console.

Yeah, that was my first thought when seeing these too...I think the entire faceplate will be replacable and just have cutouts for the DVD tray, memory card ports, etc. Sort of like the way you can swap out the faceplates on a cell phone. Think of how many people tricked out their Xboxes with custom paint jobs already ("yo Xzibit...Pimp My Xbox!" Rolling Eyes ).
