yeah but i saw the mock up the dude made and it looks stupid, specially if it just goes around the power button.
If the front of the console pops of, sort of like dell pcs and other pcs and allows you to replace the whole front thatd be cool.
be cooler if they created and incorperated official shells

found this on another forum somewhere and thought you guys might find it interesting. A nice size comparison (based on the fact that cd's are all the same size).

this is false...
becasue all of the cd/dvd drives are all around the same size or maybe 1 cm difference therefore this needs to be remade...

huh??
The images were scaled using the fact that cds are the same size (which they obviously are). Therefore its a nice comparison. I don't really understand what you are saying.

i bet that the 1-4 on the controller by the big X are for customizable functions. Microsoft said that the Xbox 360 will be very customizable, so why not let you customize what the trackball thing does? If they did set things, what they would do would be listed, not just a number.

I believe that since its a wireless controller, it (edit here, it meaning "THE NUMBERS 1-4) is either a visual display of what player you are (which you can switch in between) or of what chanel or frequency range you are using. also the controller looks to have a headphone jack.
I'm going to have to agree with that... helps to read the topic

i am just saying th xbox 369 dics tray is actually longer than all of them if you take out the eject button so that would have to be scaled down

Actually, the image was scaled using the cd-tray only as a constant.
Here they are with the cd trays lined up.

And yes those numbers around the controller must be for which frequency your on...
Because the dvd remote thingy doesnt have any numbers arouns the box live button...
But i dont think that you can change it from the controller..
Becasue that would reck the game...

Gamestop usually has good articles on it. Thought this might sum things up for anybody lost or confused about whether or not this is for real.
