XBOX 360 vs PSP We all know europe and most of the world except america/japan have to wait till september to get a PSP... BUT if XBOX 360 gets a global launch in November what do you think the chances are that people are going to hold of the 2 months and save there money for the next xbox.
Do you think microsoft might be using this as a tactic to somewhat drown out the release of the psp or what.
I mean in my country the psp is going to be around $300 AUD and the XBOX360 should launch at $400 to $600 dollars.
Theres gonna be a lot of people left to choose which way to go.
Whats your thoughts ?

this is actually interesting. i have thought of this, and i don't think it was intentional, more so than an added bonus. fortunately for me, i am a proud PSP owner, and am lucky to be able to afford the XBOX360 when it comes out. poor european gamers...torn between the futre of handhelds and the future of consoles....u will be in my prayers....

No and i doubt a lot of people could, the psp is gonna launch in both europe, australia and more then likely more places in november. Im not going to have around $900 AUD (around 600 USD) set aside to pay for em both
LOl as a nice never going to happen, it would be great if they launched bundled together cheap !, future of consoles meets future of handhelds bundle pack !!!!

Still don't know why people call PSP the future of handheld gaming. It doesn't bring anything new to the handeld market. GP32 played movies and music before while Gizmondo (also plays movies and music) has better graphics.

I have the PSP, but if it comes down to needing the spare $$ to buy an XBox360 @ release, I'll be selling my PSP @ the 1st opportunity.

I am going to have to figure out which one I want more for a 6 month deployment at sea. No way I can afford both.

Navy? You may not have room on the ship for a console and a TV and all that...a PSP may be more practical.

the psp does a lot of things decently but not well enough to justify not purchasing the gadgets that it tries to replace that do the same job better.

taking into consideration the price and the competition (aka the going no where in regards to developement gameboys and such from nintendo) i believe the psp is quite an unbelievable device.
And its only early days, theres a lot of firmware, upgrades and properly developed games that utilise the systems true potential still to come.

Are you NUTS?!!
How in the world can you say that Gizmondo has better graphics?
Have you actually looked at a game on Giz and on PSP and compared.
For instance..........Gizmondo
An then we have the all mighty.............PSP
That's quite a bit the other way I should say.
