Dear Sunny,
I slept late this morning and then ran errands. At the grocery store, I
overhead the latest gossip in town: Agatha, despite her promise to us, has been blabbing stories about a "magic mask" being found at the Library. I tried to call her to ask just what she thinks she's doing but I was told she wasn't available to come to the phone. I think we shall have to go by the Library at closing time this evening and pay her a little visit. I believe Iris would like to see if she is able to gather more impressions. We still have Wes' statue and maybe the entity in the storage room will have more to tell.

When I called Sam today, he told me about how Dale and Wes heroically rescued Tracie. I am so thrilled by their success and so very glad that she is alive and recovering. I do wonder why they haven't made a public announcement to allay the fears of her friends at the news station but I will remain mum in deference to their judgment. When he then mentioned, oh so casually, that Don Marzano was at the Municipal Building even as we spoke, I jumped up out of my chair and said, "I'm on my way!" I want so much to confront that snake in a public place, where he dare not lift a hand to me, and tell the world what I know about him! Sam convinced me that was a foolhardy impulse and we discussed the possible purpose of the Don's visit. Sam thinks it might have to do with the "big announcement" Pat promised in his latest web site message. He's been bouncing about lately, grinning and chirping, "Good news is coming, good news, people!" Somehow, with the Don involved, I seriously doubt the venture will have a wholesome result.

I sincerely hope that it will not be necessary to send the wand here. It is my current belief that when we discover what we are supposed to do with these magical things, then it will be clear how to use them, even if they are miles apart. Does that make sense? The DEG's are not only in Aglaura. Bruce has seen them in other states and we know "Renee" has been pursued by them. The darkness is everywhere so, perhaps, we will need to cast a circle around the whole globe. Now that I realize how many more helpers there are, I begin to think we could do it. Wouldn't that be marvelous?

We never get anything first in Canada....from Heinz Purple Ketchup to DEGs. Very Happy

Hey nothing has been father south than the Mason-Dixon Line either (Hmmm, wonder how many states I can break the speed laws in trying to get to Chicago on Saturday from the middle of Florida?)

BTW...just to clarify, this wasn't meant as a slight in any way Smile
I am thoroughly enjoying CTW and just wish I was geographically closer to the action so I might be able to go along for some of the real rides...lol
