A mod will lock items if they deem neccassary. (sp?). Any mod of this forum, should know that this IS a mirror of ourcolony. It did so perfectly when this post was made. Notice how that is the ORIGINAL ourcolony thread. [/url]

Now i know a mod is watching, and considering not locking it. Twas my intention. I appologize for using colorful language.
Now if this is a seperate Ourcolony leader board, should we create a new team to rise up and dominate that one? each member is 10 points. thats 240 members we need then. Easily with this forum! Very Happy

ok i didnt consider the whole thing as a miror i thought it was just a fake leaderboard, so sorry bout that one.

Nonetheless, why do we need a mirror that doesnt have the same data? who created it, whos running it? is it een gonna be updated?

I think these are all fairly important questions.

I Admit I jumped the gun and should have explored more then i would i have seen it was a mirror,i thought it was just a fake lounge not the whole site ok.

I realize ur still just pissed at me for telling them to lock ur thread about your anger at ourcolony for its failings. i explained my reasoning and i still dont see the point in that thread and if i was a mod (which i realize im not) I would lock it. Dont hold grudges.

Any mods available think they can tag this thread? Perhaps with an identifier of fact? I mean, look at the two IP's. It is just a copy, but image uploading is working AND the forums are kinda available.

Why in the world would anyone believe this is anything but fake? It would be so easy to mirror ourcolony, we already have access to all the code that makes it work. I'm sure this is just someone who mirrored it when it first came out and finally put it up somewhere. This is about as creditable as c-cure, or "wisdom colony"...

You should look at the whois information. The two ip addresses are neighbors for god sakes. Someone did easily make a mirror of it. They also happen to have all the asp code and database code as well. Sure thats easy to mirror right? As well as it being completely functional (well not COMPLETELY), the person who did clone it, probably took the data right off the physical server.

Uhm, [META] tags also refer to things within the game that are technically "outside" of the game, such as the following (as there really is no other tag that applies more directly):

PM information
Website information (such as mirrors)
Discussion on how the game is running (such as whining and complaining and discussion on methodology being used)
General information about the game

As it appears currently that this is simply a mirror site, until it becomes something else, I'm going to keep the tag as [META], as it falls under the category of both "website information" and "general information".
