The tapping was just text inserted into the wav file..
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
A river I have seen, and been across its shores,
and on my trip I carried out my daily chores.
A small raft is all I have, to carry my cargo
How to make the trip across was all I needed to know.
Can you help me ?

ETA - Bah, nevermind, the whole site was shut down, not just the one page (which doesn't exist). Silly me.

For me, I just opened the wav file in a text editor. The text was right there on top.

I was thinking that since most of the other puzzles had some Bible-related elements, it might be a reference to Moses in the bullrushes, or crossing the river Jordan. I did an online Bible search earlier and didn't see anything that jumped out at me, though.

Re: sounds like
Well, if you're on the right track with the above link, then this one might help as well:
http://www.theblackmarket.com/letsrap.htm
It has some interesting info regarding binary numbers and that puzzle. I already tried some obvious URL solutions, but to no avail....

when is one and one three? Since this is biblical, maybe it's referring to the holy trinity?
EDIT: or perhaps this biblical reference:
"For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20 [NIV]
When two people come together, in the Christian faith, then Jesus is with them....therefore one plus one equals three...

I see that you are once again befuddled
Around my latest quiz you are huddled
So I will again take you by the hand
And spell out the answer in the sand
To complete the task that I have assigned
How many trips will leave nothing behind?

Can anyone explain the answer to the last question? It still doesn't make sense to me how we were supposed to find a number with no specific question...
