this is not an alternate reality game. there is no in game or out of game. this is reality. What we should be saying is this person is preaching falacy's and trying to lead us from the truth. What is clear is he is playing the game. Anything refering to this game is playing the game. Maybe a little, maybe alot. The truth though, that is what we play to learn.

for all the not an arg stuff, i think this today, with the chicago thing, became an ARG. but either way there is still an ingam and OOG because someones either a PM or theyre not. i think AIM gamem8ker is OOG

ARGS are immersive, in that they are a fiction world with characters, stories, and interaction with those stories. The navy pier was just some dude , with no story , saying he cannot say any more than the answer "human energy". How is this immersing anyone? All these people are real people. We're all just playing the game.

good point on immersion. ok i retract my statment saying this is an ARG. It still has crossed some line though its no longer only online (although one could argue that happened back with THX) either way i still say the rest of my arument stands

thats pro'ly what novaKAIN meant. however, does anyone see my logic as to why i think he's a liar? i mean, isn't it true that once u say ur validity doesn't matter, the rest or ur statements automatically fall under this statement?

I don't see any reason yet to believe he is a fake, but there is no definite evidence that he is real either. He's just saying that whatever is talked about Ourcolony via AIM has no relevance to the game because that screename is not supposed to be a contact point for players, thus nothing relevant to the game will ever come out of it.

Anyway, if he's real or not doesn't matter anyway. He's never done anything to lead anyone away from (or towards, for that matter) the correct answer. In fact, he once advised against going to a payphone meeting which the person behind later admitted to be fake.
