perhaps in Chicago?
we could have a tournament where players must draw slips of paper with instructions on them like "play hanging upside down" and "movement must be controlled with your elbow" and go up through eliminating players ladder-style!

That would be so sweet! Now I wish I could go to Chicago even more!!!

Started the match with a resounding

Cryhead was the only one to realize that I probably just hadn't played since the reset and I think was a little more careful around me. Very Happy

Nice Wink I haven't played much at all since the reset either, so I'm interested to see what madness will unfold if I jump back in...

Okay, so I've gone from hating battle rifles to loving them. When used properly, in a team setting, they OWN.

As evidence of this, I present the following:

Yeah, the final score was 30-8. Yes, 8. We took the high ground at the top of the elevator, and didn't get dislodged for the rest of the game. It wasn't a game, it was a freaking massacre.

We then repeated our performance a little later, using the same strategy.

A little closer game... 30-19. This time they actually worked as a team, and the high ground went back and forth a little bit more often. But god, good team work can do wonders in this game. Especially when your teammate is sitting next to you, on his own box and TV.

The top of the elevator can be deadly for your team if the other side has a tree-climbing sniper.

but then again all you need is sword overshield or a well placed rocket to get killtacular Very Happy

i really am dissapointed with the 'new' BR. before it actually required some aiming/accuracy to use, but nowadays its the fallback weapon, everyone uses. dual smg has gone the way of the dodo, when a well placed grenade, lucky br burst or even shudder two b attacks slaps your opponent into the dust.

luckily team fiesta pops up more often these days Wink

The BR has always been my favorite weapon in the game, besides my dual-needler fetish.

Granted, I haven't played since the update, and I hear they're improved, but battle rifles always owned.

In a Team Slayer environment, monopolizing all the BRs on a map can be devastating. On Burial Mounds especially, I haven't seen any team figure out how to deal with 3 BRs and a carbine in a loose pack without giving up 20 kills first. Same thing goes in Colossus.

Sometimes, I am a monster in the Wraith:

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?panel=kills&gameid=233370320&player=krystyn

27 kills, baybee, and a significant number of them were killing the dudes who tried to jack it, either by shooting them, or hopping on and 'nading them as they tried to take my precious metallic covvie instrument of gigantic blue death.

Mmmm.

ETA: Ahahahahaha, yes, that was it! INCyr kept coming to try and kill me, and so I got him 10 times, and he got me 4. Too funny.
