thank you sir I was grinding my teeth on this one. I have explosive typing disorder at times. I to am also a game developer, or at least an entry apprentice. I understand enough to know that developing for a system geared for games with garunteed continuity in hardware, is alot easier to develop for pc with a HUGE range of hardware. The xbox 1 may have been just a package computer, but stuff was written to be targetted for that machine alone, and not 1000 different machines. This made the 700mhz chip pump out games that looked not half bad.
You're forgetting though that the CPU's in the new 360 are Power PC's. This will have the system competing at the same level as the new PS3 as well. Their cell architecture uses PowerPC chips. I think thats the only reason IBM is backing the cell, is because it widens the range of their PowerPC chips. And what beautiful chips they are to.

Here Here evlmel! This isn't the point of the game guys. The point of the game is for us to have fun, learn about the new Xbox system and talk, not have a huge "mine is bigger then yours" fight. So lets take all this effort and put it towards the upcoming challenge.
