 		New Challange 05-12-05
Firstly... Hello everyone!

Secondly..... I have searched and did not find anything in previous posts that relates to what I am about to say.

If I am wrong and this is a re-post, or you feel it is just stating the obvious, then please feel free to lock me down rather than flame!

OK.

The last challange is under way and I want to just throw some ideas out in the hope that we can "unlock" whatever it is we have to unlock before the timer runs out.

It seems to have been mentioned several times that we have to find the "key". My thoughts on this are as follows: There is a part or ourcolony.net that can be unlocked by using the right "key". It seems to me that the most obvious manifestation of this "secret/ hidden" area is in the form of a new all encompasing collony. With this in mind I guess we are looking for the correct password to enter in the "join existing colony" field.

For me this would all make sense... when you consider that a colony is a group of individuals from the same species who live/ work together for the benefit of eachother... it seems that the existing structure of OurColony is too fragmented. To make everyone work together we need to form an unpartitioned "super" or (and I hesitate to use this word without sounding like a complete geek!).... Uber colony.

So in short, we need the key to the new colony, and the key is made up of the rewards from every challange to date (I think that the pictures were not the rewards themselves, but the information they give us is the true reward).

I am not trying to insult anyones intelligence. I appreciate that to a certain extent I guess I'm just stating the bleedin' obvious here. The idea of this post is to get everyone to focus... there are only 9 hours 23 minutes left to "unlock" the door!

 		first of...the challenge is 5-12-05, NOT 4-11-05...please change the header if u want others to read. second, i don't think we're gonna get anywhere until the clock runs out or we physically get a new challenge IMO. we shall see...

 		OK... When I click on form new colony or join existing colony I get directed to http://ourcolony.net/team/

Is this the case for other people?

This means we are now left with only two places to submit answers/ numbers/ words.... the first page and the create/ colony canvas page.

Just some more food for thought

 		yeah i did that this morning. i was sent back to my colony. it is confirmed now. the teams are set. interesting. i can smell the fuelof this train picking up. i hope my dreams do not get squandered, or i'll be pissed and switch to Mac!

 		It's because of your cookies. Delete your cookies, restart your browser, then go back to the OC page. You should have to go through the login process again (or join a colony).

 		hova you were sent back to your colony because you didn't clear your cookies. i just tryed bit and your still aloud to join another colony.

 		you can zero out the clock by setting your computer time ahead and the site looks no different to me, so i dont think anything suddenly changes if you let it run itself down.

 		i did that....i logged out cmpletely, cleared my cookies and history. i guess i should chalk it up to it being a glitch then. sorry 'bout that...

 		has anyone ever figured out what image is overlayed(underlayed?) on all the moving pictures on the first page? you can probably see it best on the power button picture. looks like a guy holding up his hand to his head.

 		OK... I removed all cookies and re-started the browser and it is back to normal now!

Must have been a glitch my end!

I am convinced that this key must be 8 numbers/ letters... 113 3six0
