Also I noticed that the title has changed. It now reads ? e r p l e x C i t y.
So I googled ?erplexcity and came across some old syzygy stuff (it was the only link).
http://syzygy.netninja.com/pdf/index.pdf
This document is so nice =) We need something as nice of this for the latest stuff. mmmmmmm.
Oh, and this background image is freaking my browser out:
http://www.perplexcity.com/images/backing.jpg
For some strange reason it is not allowing me to see the whole size. The resize button in ie appears half off the browser and wont let me click it.

Good point - I just think its strange that a splash page would have two links - one to an introductory page (p2) and one direct to the main page.
I'm not sure I follow you. I see two links on the page, but they both go to index2.html.

Just a short thing about the Stockholm store. Actually, you guys (and me too) were right. Anyone reading the Parcel Code-thread remember me being asked to return to the store in question at a later date because they were kind of busy when I showed up and asked.
They HAD received a letter from Perplex City, asking them to stock the puzzlecards. However, due to bad research by MC/roll of the dice/stroke of destiny - the stores they had orginally signed up as the store for Stockholm (Leksaksborgen) only carries toys and games for kids up to the age of 8, hardly the age of PPC-players.
Therefor, they probably changed to Dino - which is like Firebox meets an ordinary store.

It's been corrected - but last week if you click on the picture it took you straight to index3.html and if you clicked on "imagine" it took you to index2.html
Maybe we're all ingame beta testers!
Cheers

Can someone with the right tools and knowledge analyze the notes?
How du mean analyse...? I can tell you what they are but I'd have no idea what that meant!

The notes just sounded a little too random to me. I was thinking that if we knew the notes, that that might somehow translate into something. I'm not sure how, it was just a stray thought.
Did anyone else think that the notes sounded too random? Or is it just me?

It looks like they have added something new to the site on May 14th, although I can't notice anything different...

The notes aren't that random, they all fit into a key - personally if I wanted acess to as many notes to translate into a code I'd use C major because it's got all the natural notes in it - no sharps or flats. I think the music is meant to sound a bit other-worldly, and there's not enough different notes, most of them are the same ones just octaves higher or lower

This is the change - as detailed in this site which is a great site, whoever's it is!

Not a HTML type myself, but it looks fairly minimal. I don't think they have even used the icon in question yet

Thats not the change though, that page is delivered dynamically by the server when there is no index.html page for that directory. However, that page tells us that the root "perplexcity.com" was updated with a new folder/file on saturday...
