I did the same thing..

No u's, y, or w's because the sequence in the vid didn't go that that long.. Use the sequence at 5:01 when you can see the whole thing in J's shirt (black) Little dots are 1 empty dots are 0 and big dots are 2. It's just in ABC order up to T. Then get the dot sequence off off ourcolony and match up the dots on our colony with the dots on the vid and that's what you get..

No, not braille, as far as I can tell. I think braille uses 2 by 3 blocks of dots anyway, and it wouldn't fit perfectly in a 4 by 19 (on the web page). The dots in the video are actually the key, running out the codes from A through T. You can take the codes from that and plug them into the dots on the webpage and almost completely solve the OURCOLONYWILLRETURN string.

I never did come up with a formula to "calculate" a number from the dots alone, but I guess they are just symbols, and could be interpreted in many ways (ie, not just as 0s, 1s, and 2s). As far as I can tell, it's just a pattern that represents each letter, and the same cipher in the video works on the web page grid.

The almost-complete text string you came up with is too clear to be random. I think we can call this a solve. Good find, Kagerou.

You can make numbers with this sequence, though. It could be a ternary number system. Google it, and you'll find some sequencing tables. I was trying to make some sense of it from that angle, but the numbers go too high for an alphabet string.

The three columns on the E3 ring of light could be converted into number this way (79,38,35) but this wasn't the registration code.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see what might be next.
