I agree. I can't get chat working (I'm blocked from using java based chats / irc here) so I'm stuck on this thread and the IU forum. And believe me, trying to follow the IU forum is even harder, because people just seem to post random segments of the puzzle. Though, thanks for the catch up thread Razz .

Sorry guys (the people who were not in chat). Everything happened so fast I mean, within an hour we had more information and e-mails then there was people. Also, until we get an actual forum in UF, we have an organized, but less used IU forum.

There's no more info at IU than there is here (probably less), but thanks for trying.

Can someone please list the bmp names and how they were obtained. As I said - I can't make heads or tails of the pricing puzzle. I see the "ask", I see the "plu", it would stand to reason that the "lime" would be obtained in the same manner, and yet I get gibberish?

I actually found all three clues for the lime, corn and rose PLU.

On page 6 of this thread, you'll see 3 different .jpgs. Receipt1, receipt2, and receipt3.

If you look at the different prices for items, they're different. Listed Below is the different translations for them...

So - do we have the PLUs for the rose and corn?

Do they lead to other websites? It's suddenly gotten really confusing overnight.

We do - They lead us to two other jpgs, but I can't give the #s to you right now - I'm at work and kinda busy (I HATE mondays!!!)

But I'll try in a little bit to find the two PLUs. You can also look them up.

Oh! The rose one was 5009, I believe. Oh and I think the corn one was 4078... Dayum. If I remembered those, I'm good =P Give those a shot - If you can't, i"ll do it when I get a free second.

So the other PLUs gave us the other two strips which lead to the composit image of letters that, when decyphered with 'youmustbelieve' we got the url of what the mother wrote regarding the choice of who got the hand and the naming of the sons? At least that's how it seems to me... even though the posting order is at odds with that.

Just remember folks, not everyone can get into chat rooms for any number of reasons (I only have time for these games at work and I can't get into chat rooms from here... I also don't have sound so thank you in advanced for transcriptions of sound files) and thus we're not always privvy of what has been solved and how.

Okay, fere are all three webpages (not necessarly in order):

... you know what other twin brothers talked like this? Thingumy and Bob, from Tove Janson's Moomintroll books. Anyone know those? Smile They were cute books... I doubt, however, that they have much to do with this. I doubt that they do at all, in fact.

One thing I want to say to you guys is that we understand that you can't be in chat, but its hard when we're in a train of thought to stop to post these things, then go right back in chat. It breaks the concentration.

I am sorry that you cannot chat with us, as the more people the merrier.

Okay so I'm always confused by this. 5/17/05 00:00 means tonight (Monday) at midnight, right? It'll be Tuesday officially, but once the clock strikes 12:00 (or 00:00), that's when the transition is made. Right? Not Tuesday night?

Also, I have to apologize myself. Yeah, the puzzles weren't really clearly explained from what went on last night. It was mentioned before, but it was all happening very quickly. It went from, "Hmm, what are these e-mails about receipts?" to "Midnight, 5/17/05!" in what felt like five minutes. And there were a TON of steps to go from point A to point B.

And lastly, I agree that we should really try to move over to the Immersion Unlimited forum (here: http://www.forum.immersionunlimited.com/viewforum.php?f=85). I really don't care which site has the forum for this ARG, but having it split across two is very confusing, and while there's more information on this one now, it's completely unorganized. The UI forum has everything divided up nicely, and that makes it loads easier to find what you're looking for, and to post in the right place. My $0.02!

I think it refers to Tuesday. Smile I've always seen references to midnight done this way (but then again, I'll be on at midnight tonight and tomorrow just incase so maybe I'm just dismissing it to easily?)

Oh, I don't ask you guys to stop and post after each solve. Just that, when you do post a solution to something, try and post the steps to get there. See what I mean? Post when you want, just include the steps to get to your solution, that's all.
