Hivemeet is offically over. I just dropped Jinx at the airport, and I am back in my (empty echo echo echo) apartment.

To say that I am suddenly bereft would be an understatement of massive proportions.

I had a really great time. Honestly. I wish I had more words, but that whole bereft thing is kicking my ass.

I think you would've enjoyed pao-de-queijo at Fogo! I tried to make sure everybody tried that just because I know you like it!

Oh good, and did everybody enjoy the Fogo?

Fogo was awesome. Everything tastes better when it's wrapped in bacon. The play would've been more than worth it without the red balloons and queen bees. Those just put it over the top. Karaoke was painful, but in a good way.

So much more good stuff that I'll get around to posting later. For now, I'd just like to say special thanks to Astrovanman for the rides and to Spie for getting completely disoriented along with me - and to everyone else who helped make this the fantistic weekend that it was.

Umm. Excuse me, but which way to the train? Ahh. I see. So we've been walking the wrong way for 18 blocks. Right.

It took me ten minutes to finally start to say goodbye to everyone at the Barnes and noble on sunday, And then I missed Saying Goodbye to Krystyn Sad

I feel your pain. I missed saying goodbye to at least half the crew because I was A) waiting in line for a bathroom I never got to use and then B) on the phone with the grandparents trying to offer bribes for more babysitting time. By the time we realized we had to go, Krystyn and Co. were driving away. Sad

And I feel a kind of awkward sadness knowing that I won't be seeing Ozy in another two weeks. What do have to look forward to now? Crying or Very sad Razz

BTW: I'll have my pics up later today and I'll post a link

WHEN'S NUMBER TWO?

Dammit, I wanna meet in Chi-town! [/impatient brat]

Besides, I have so many reasons to go there I ought to just make an impromptu drive some time this summer. Hell, I'd almost have to make a week out of it just to do everything I wanted to.

Well, there was some amount of discussion to move the hive meet to Seattle or some other location.

However, maybe we can have an end o' the summer thingy in Chicago.

Seattle vs. Chicago. Hmm, either way AstroVanMan will have to change the oil in his car when he gets home.

Ain't technology great. I also love how you guys wandered around to find a hotspot outside the tavern on Saturday to post pictures to Flickr Smile. Even though I made fun of you Twisted Evil, I still thought it was awesome.

Okay, so I get an award for Supreme WarWalker. And at least three people get medals of valor for walking backwards while holding Athena while I typed and clicked.

Well, Chicago "won" the bid for the next ARGfest. Do we shoot for late summer? Or would people need more time for planning than that?
