Oh, I don't ask you guys to stop and post after each solve. Just that, when you do post a solution to something, try and post the steps to get there. See what I mean? Post when you want, just include the steps to get to your solution, that's all.
Thanks
Fair enough. I'll try and remember to do that. I guess you do lose some of the "story" that way...

Yeah, we can try Paradoxic Again, I just blame last nights lack-of good posting on the speediness of the e-mail, solves and what-not. Thats why I had hoped someone could be a nice summery of what happened, e-mails, solves, puzzles, people etc etc
Would someone be interested in doing that? Like gathering groups of info and posting it in a place (like the wiki etc) so people who don't chat, or missed an event can catch up. I swore I heard someone made a wiki...

And yeah, I never asked or expected anyone to stop in the middle of everything they are doing in chat to post a trail here. Only that when you do, that you explain where you got what you did and how. It makes it easier for us who aren't in chat to follow later.
I personally have no desire to move to IU.....I like it here : )
But I've been here awhile.

- Grr... I got that message too. Well. Obviously. But... urgh. Anyway. Yeah.
- On the issue of chat posting etc: just a quick summary of events would be wonderful. But *shrugs* whatever works.
- I like it here, too, Caterpillar. Not saying that I dislike IU or anything. But uh.... yeah. o.O
Um. Anyway. Yeah, that's all I have to say... think I'll be going now... because, uhh... I need to . Yeah.

BTW....anyone notice that the street sign on Layla's Blog says "Rookerey Hill" instead of "Rookery " (which is how she refers to it in her postings)?

I did, and I even emailed her about it.

I took a look at the sign on my journal. It's mispelled on the sign! Or am I mispelling it? The newspaper spells it without the extra E, so I'll fault the sign instead of myself. Anyway, I think my Uncle put it up himself, that's the only raod sign for a few miles and there are more than a few turn offs.

Regarding the day that midnight is supposed to fall on (heard some speculation if it was the sunday->monday transition or the monday->tuesday midnight) I'd say its tonight, given that the clock is showing a few minutes BEFORE midnight, rather than midnight or a few minutes afterwards.

Yup, it'll be 5 am UK time.
Darn it.
Oh well. Probably not as spookey if it was at 5am instead of midnight, so I'll give it a miss.

London is at GMT - 0. The east coast of USA is at GMT - 5. The west coast of USA is at GMT - 8. Thus midnight in London is 7 pm on the East Coast and 4 pm on the West Coast. Midnight on the East Coast is 5 am in London and 9 pm on the West Coast. As for you Aussie readers, I don't know... I think Melbourne at least is GMT + 5 or so, but don't quote me on that.
