[META] E3

Ian is not going to use me for E3. But I want anybody who is going to be used to know that if you get stuck, or lost, or something; I'm totally there for you.

If you drive yourself to the Staple Center, bring $20 for parking. One ATM unit will get you parking all day relitively close to the venue.

Wear comfy walking shoes.

Bring a water bottle and some kind of snacky thing. Food is expensive in and around the SC. (Unless you're okay with "street meat".)

If you're comming from OC I recommend taking the train. Take the Metro to Union Station then take the blue line to Pico... Nothing could be easyer. And you don't have to deal with traffic at the end of the day. Awsome.

Earplugs. You're gonna want some earplugs.

How would one be "picked" for this mission?

I sent an email a little while ago, I live in the LA area and all. Does he only choose people that have been used before? I'm not mad or jelous or anything, I'm just curious.

You had to email Ian at the vengeance email address. You'd get an email stating what time you had to be available - along with another email address to respond to if you could make it. I'm not sure if they had to do background checks this time around or not. There is usually only a window of a few days to get your emails in for potential missions - but just because you don't get picked doesn't mean that you can't play along at home. As witnessed from the Coachella mission - non-retrievers can be a huge help to those on the front lines. Plus we have amusing convos in chat while waiting. Very Happy

Well, I just sent the info for the background check, so we'll see what happens. Smile In any case, it will be interesting to see how everything play out.

If we had been thinking clearly, we would have mocked up some "vintage" TatumThink T-shirts for ghe E3 retrievers to wear...

Virgil says in his blog that he wants to make sure his fans have access to him...

Man I hate that guy.
