I have serched this and i didnt find anything feel free to troute me if this has been done or is just a dead end, but when i got to the start page of the sight and saw ?erplex city i decided to try www.?erplexcity.com and i got a 404, but the address had changed to:

http://www./Home/Homepage/fs/en

at the moment i havent a clue what that means or if it is just standard procedure for a website, but if anyone could help me clear this up it would be greatly appreciated.

invfish noted this here but nothing really came of it. Don't think it actually means anything now, personally.

Also I noticed that the title has changed. It now reads ? e r p l e x C i t y.

So I googled ?erplexcity and came across some old syzygy stuff (it was the only link).

Try entering any URL with a '?' in place of it's first letter. Watching the status bar suggests it does funny things to all addresses. That said, nothing quite this funny. I guess it's probably a meaningless peculiarity, but I still think it was worth posting.

As far as I know, the character ? is not valid inside the server part of the address. It is used to separate the actual address from the arguent (GET parameters for examples).
If you type www.?perplexcity.com, you are asking for the default page located on the server named "www.", with obviously doesn't exist.
So if you see something strange, it is most propably an artifact created by your browser or your FAI or a DNS server, I'm afraid. Some browser for example have auto-correction functionnalities built-in and activated by default.
I myseft get not 404 but "server not found".
This is therefore no code, and 100% OOG....IMHO

Out-Of-Game

Same as how IG is In-Game. Other terms can be found in the UF glossary
