[SOLVED][puzzle]alarm clock

The puzzle is here Here

Just thought this ought to have its own thread. So far we think it could be an anagram of something. But there seems to be a disproportionatly (sp?) large number of certain uncommon letters: such as 3 k's 4 h's and 4 l's. Also there is only 1 s and 1 t ??

Thats all so far, any more ideas anyone?

Also here is the alarm clock pic.

I also (for some reason) made a list of the letters in order of how often they occur. Where there was the same number i took the letter that was first in the alphabet first.

Of course, once I made the following post, this new thread was created. Razz Here it is again, since this thread follows that puzzle:

If that string of letters is an anagram, it'll be tough unless we have a clue pointing to what it should say. And if it's a Vignere cipher, it'll be tough without a key... I've tried the Vignere with a number of different keys (Richard, Eric, Tall Man, I'm jealous, evil, shadow, I will miss him, etc). Nothing so far... And doing a rot on it didn't result in anything either.

Well, the string of numbers you get from changing the letters to numbers does not produce anything useful (random numbers, letters, and symbols) in bases 2 through 16... so that trick doesn't seem to work again.

Solve

Not sure if this has been posted yet.. If it has we're all over the place. Someone want to create a run-up of all the solves or something? I'd do it but I'm useless.

Since none of us could get it, and we spent so long trying to work it out with random methods.. We actually got a load of messages from the ghosts and stuff. Many of which pointed out the letter three..
Now since we basically got a skip I'm not sure if this is right but..

The number 3 is important because that's the hour the clock is on.


If you go through the gibberish.. and account the 3rd letter each time..

Well actually she didn't suggested.. she just told us..

She just posted the link, apparently it was whatwewerelike.htm which is the full version of "What we're like", even though the name suggests it would be "What we are like".
