[SOLVED PUZZLE] b+w squares. Ok created a new topic for this one:
bit like a maze? 20/05/05
Looked to me at first just to cut the pic up in horizontal lines but looking at it more there are vertical edits as well. The b+w squares title could be a clue that it needs to be cut into squares for a solve?
The more and more i look at this pic the more i keep seeing repeating patterns all over it. Certain shapes are repeated constantly but im not sure why.

I did the obvious - took 5 paces back and squinched up my eyes.
revealed nothing. No words spelt out. No obscure pictures.
I think we need a key.

It looks like a tile game to me. I've been trying to eyeball where the edges of the tiles would be and see if I can rearrange them into something meaningful.

Puzzle Solved As a N00b, I'm not sure what to block as a spoiler... should have looked that up before posting, but I got a bit excited, but I decided to err on the side of caution...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Digging through the omniglot sight, I ran into an alphabet called Betamaze (bit like a maze) that looks just like this puzzle -- it says:
Beware_Not_Truth__
Not sure what that means, but thats what it says.... note that there are two spaces at the end. I'm think it's probably nothing -- just space to complete the squares.
Glad I gave up on that subway angle I was starting to fixate on (btw, it looks like the subway on the informant news site isn't in London... I don't think there's a 25th street station in london and that's the only one that I can kind of read...

Yawn.

But nevertheless the ARG community is ever growing and recycled puzzles manage to impress new audience. Just giving credit where it's due.

It might not have been zoe that posted the link, We know that Leo has access to Zoes computer (hence the MSN message). I am at work today but if she does come online it would be a good idea to ask her about it? I got bored at work today and set up a Flickr account. I was also bored and created my own message to Leo. I will post the link when i get back tonight.

I think we should not ask Zoe so many questions... We should watch our step a little more than befor seeing as she had no idea about the /clock page
Maybe some things are best left unnoticed. The meet-up could have been compromised last time, had everyone not already been to the page already. We should not give everything away, seeing as Zoe's character is not all it seems.

zoe I too don't trust her very much... I think she's probably trying to stop Leo from meeting us, but I wonder why he still has a link to her page under his friends list on his blog -- of course it hasn't been updated in a long time. (Anyone have any idea what the 1991 significance might be).
and I'm not that kjartan... must have found another one Though I'm a bit supprised there's another icelandic saga junkie out there runnin' round args -- small world.

the team 17 forum is that of the people who made the Worms series which has long since got a bit rubbish.
Sorry if I worried you there
1991 is nothing to do with the dates being screwy. They're in a different dimension, remember, so they'll have been counting years differently.
I also distrust Zoe. If Leo is not trying to spring a trap, which is the way it seems atm unless the plot is a big front for something even more sinister, Zoe is the baddie - working against Leo for the government.
Though 5th have been leaking through, which means if you are meeting leo he could be one of those leakers! erk!
I think many of our questions will remain unanswered until the meet.
