Angie EMAIL: The Don is furious

From MaggieMae at CD...

Quote:
Angie,

I don't have much time but I wanted to tell you what happened, and to say goodbye. After last night, I am getting far away from here.

Uncle Don started gushing over his discovery of my relationship with Bruce and acting like a proud papa. Without telling me, he invited Bruce over to Empty Threats late last night (at the end of business hours). He made some great pretense of inviting us for a special celebratory gift, but then cornered us both in the back room office. The place was basically empty except for one of the SOD thugs out front. He sat us down in front of his desk, then walked around behind us, telling us that he knows
what we did to help Dale. He seemed weirdly calm at first but then got very red faced and his voice got deeper and deeper.

Uncle Don then threatened us with "I should teach you both the price for
betraying me. Like I had to with Sal."

Bruce started squeezing my hand very tightly…..and I was thinking about my uncle killing his own son?? By this point I was crying in fear. It's true what happens in the movies, I was so scared, it was difficult to not wet myself.

He then yelled up to the ceiling "It doesn't matter though. They still have no chance. They will never find what Diana handed over to me. It is sealed away from prying eyes with my other problem." Then he turned back to us, his face between our heads. Almost whispering to our ears "But, every choice has it's consequence, are you ready for yours?"

Just then the door to his office swung open and Marco burst inside. Uncle Don roared at him "Leave!" Marco was obviously very upset and in his hand was a gun. He asked, "Why? Why did you have to kill Sal, Papa?"

Uncle Don moved toward him and told him to shut up. Marco turned to me and said to get out, putting himself between Uncle Don and us. While Bruce dragged me to the door, Uncle Don and Marco started to struggle over the gun. When we ran through the restaurant, the SOD thug started to block our way but then a gunshot rang out from the back office and he stopped in his tracks, turning to the back. We hightailed it out the front door.

Bruce pushed me to my car with instructions to gather a quick bag and find a motel somewhere about 100 miles away. I can't tell you where I am, but stopped at this Internet Café to give you the update, and thank you for being my penpal. I'm not sure if I should be grateful or mad at your role in getting me involved in this mess, or saving me from an evil man. On the other hand, Bruce and I are going to be disappearing
together…….

Stay safe.

Angie

The bolding is mine. So what is his other problem? Sarah? I don't know if this has been spec'd before, but maybe the Don made a deal with Diana. She gave him the item (whatever it is) in exchange for not hurting Dale for the money he owed.
