I just saw the WotW trailer, I so hope this is an ARG, it would rock.

Hmmmm this is just some random spec here.
But assuming we can figure out where one symbol stops and another begins.... maybe the glyph currently says "coming soon" and is thus a key to interpreting future symbols?

Doesn't look like it's an ARG.
Alienglyph updated and theyre running a contest.
Alienglyphs are dotted around america, take a photo of yourself with the glyphs and you could win a trip to LA for a VIP screening of War of the Worlds.

Dammit, looks like we were barking up the wrong tree there.
I'm honestly surprised that Spielberg isn't planning some form of immersive fiction though. Just seems like a missed opportunity considering the popularity of The Beast and the growing popularity of the internet since then. Right?

Cheers.
Well I hope they contacted someone else about it. This story is more than worthy of an ARG. Fingers crossed.

I saw War of the Worlds last week and was pleasently surprised. I thought Spielberg might ruin it by using too much CGI, but all the special effects were very well blended into the movie.. you could easily forget about the technology and just enjoy the story, even though 90% of it was computer generated. Of course the story itself falls apart to any scrutiny, but that's hollywood for ya..
Check it out. One of the better movies this year, I believe.
