Umm, you should be able to post the picture on unforums, scan it in then at the bottom of the reply page you can find "attachment posting control panel" and you can put it on there...

I don't hold out much hope tbh, but let's have a looksie eh?

At first when you mentioned an apple and the colour red, I thought it might have been another one of those I-River ads, but this one isn't. Its pretty weird for an ad, because it has not text...nothing whatsoever.

The picture doesn't have anything to do with the sorrounding articles, right?

Could this not be an Apple ad (i'm just thinking, where do you normally see white apples?)

Whatever, it seems like a fairly tenuous link to 'Apple-Thief' (where's the thief?!) so i imagine it's OOG.

There's no surrounding text
It's not linked to the image on the reverse..

Perhaps, it's got something to do with the reflection [pretty difficult to make out - even on the original] but it looks like it was taken outside. Someone holding a drape in place to hide the environment perhaps?

Since there's a reflection maybe it's not white - but silver???

The apple itself looks very similar to this one.

It's in a stock photo collection with some other scientific images, I guess scientists have discovered the long lost secret to making white apples...

An article somewhere in the paper about that perhaps with a misplaced image?

'twas in the TV Guide - Pg 27

At the time, the Apple-Thief was the Ogden Nash/Willy Wonka quote "Candy is dandy.."

After abbreviating it to CIDBLIQ... and a bit of searching I came across yet another ARG site

but nothing immediately jumps out at me

BTW, there weren't any images akin to this one it in the previous weeks guide, as I checked last night. I thought perhaps they were feeding us the imagery for each future sign.
