So from the list it sounds like perhaps they're going to replace the paintings they steal with forgeries.

Techniques transcribed I think that I have this right except for possible the last work on the second line. But this is my best shot.
Quote:
Techniques:
Canvas cracks
Shellac, dry > shellac dry > paint + sodium
Silicate still tacky > long – bristle brush
Of denatured alcohol (should also be badger,
In case of any loose bristles)
Drilled Wormholes:
Use sparingly Zoenka is already
Researching and documenting these for
Possible use on R's Self-Portrait and
An Old Man, BEGA and CODDE
Clean oil tinted with slight bit of ochre
For yellowing (Naples yellow necessary? Will
Probably not EDS, but researching sources
Anyway – ERIK knows of a Chemist in Milan)
David researching a contact in ROMA who makes
A special combination of UV rays, with
alternating hot & cold air blowers. Exact
fomula a trade secret, but seams willing

Non-fluorescing paints – not period, do
We need to pass this level of

hmm...
A few thoughts about this picture
Doesn't it look like one of the missing pieces on the bottom look very similar to a piece of image found in the newsite.swf
...and, those bricks and such remind me of the puzzle pieces used here:

Oh don't get me wrong, I didn't do anything cool by any means
nhansard got the word doc from \my games\flxzcxzd.kgb
inside that word doc were the pictures above.
The flash file was found in: \6x42ztb\My Business\
The puzzle picture I put together from the puzzle pieces found in: \3a11ccd\Miscellaneous

found the paswords for t1.kgb t2.kgb and t3.kgb in the image from list.doc. The files decrypt to the following images. Looks like they are examples of each of the techniques.

things to copy Does this help us at all with the list of things to copy?
Rembrandt: self-portrait as a young man
Rembrandt: self-portrait as an old man
Rembrandt: portrait of an old man
----
Or it could be the capitalization exercise
Or it could be the journal - the first part has the addition symbols we were discussing as part of the solve?
Others?
---
Also, note that Naples Yellow is a lead-based pigment and is very toxic.

where she got it Landlord, you asked:

She is getting that from the list image that came out of decoding the first kgb file. The list which is an image that describes several painting techniques that could be used to forge replicas of historic works includes references to R's (Rembrandt's) Self-Portrait, Old Man, BEGA and CODDE. The first two of those works Self-Portrait (both as a Young Man and Old Man) and Portrait of an Old Man are both at the Uffizi in Florence in Room 44 http://www.virtualuffizi.com/uffizi1/artista.asp?Autore=Rembrandt+Harmenszoon+van+Rijn . The BEGA which he is referring to is Cornelis Bega whose Woman Playing a Lute is also in Room 44 (The Rembrandt Room) of the Uffizi http://www.virtualuffizi.com/uffizi1/cercals1.asp?Contatore=462 and the CODDE he is referring to is Pieter Codde whose Concert is in the same room http://www.virtualuffizi.com/uffizi1/cercals1.asp?Contatore=482 .
The ThingstoCopy to which Rose is referring is the ThingstoCopy.zip file that was in the SD card #3 that still hasn't been solved. This seems to be connected to the ThingstoAsk.txt file which is still unsolved.
Hope this helps you.
