Yeah, I just e-mailed them as well. I'm curious to see how it develops...

Yep I emailed them as well, took the piss a bit:
Quote:
Hello, I am interested in becoming part of your team. I am one of the top mathematicians in the country, and have been involved in some background work regarding cyphers for an organisation who's identity I am not at liberty to disclose. I also was involved in hacking in the mid to late 90s, and remained safe after half my group were arrested in 1998, at this point I moved out of this area.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Heheh

I'd join, just on the merits of the Canadian connection, but I'm off ARGs for the time being. Nothing personal, to the community here or ARGs as a whole, it's more of a 'time-management' issue.

Got sent an email last night... here it is.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The title of the email was 0101010001101000011001010010000001000001011100100110110101111001
Here is the body.
426C6F6F647368656420526164696F204672657175656E6379
506-955980.4
The title of the email is binary for 'The Army'
The body is hex for 'Bloodshed Radio Frequency'
Now I don't know much about American radio, but if anyone could have a look at that... maybe make contact?

The Strange E-mail The only thing that made any sense to me at this point was to trying a "leet" decryption on "506-955980.4". Why it made sense is because the page that we were directed to was called "Leet, Hex and Binary" and, since Hex and Binary were already used to decode the first two parts of e-mail... well, I'm sure you get the idea.
However, after I did a "leet" decode, all I could come up with was "so6-gssgbo.a". That meant nothing to me so I tried rotting/anagraming it, looking for .com, .htm or .html (since there is a "." in there). But I got nothing.
So, it's on to try other things.
EDIT: Found out 506-955980.4 is a phone booth number (via IU). Kinda thinking that most of the information for this ARG is going to occur over there.
EDIT: The Flash goes like this. Bloop, Bloop, Sigh...., Big *** (edited for content) Boom, then a quote "The Moral? BHB's thoughts may be small, but they are highly explosive." Hmmm... BHB? A group? A person?

I dont know if this is of any relevance, but after yahooing around abit, I found this and other interesting articles on the subject of "invisible Personell", "military", "Psychotronic weapons".
http://members.aol.com/alanyu5/part4a3.htm
Not sure how much help that would be, but hopefully its a step in the right direction.
EDIT:It might have something to do with the flash intro on the sciencewizz page (I.e: "The Moral? BHB's thoughts may be small, but they're highly explosive."). Also BHB, Might stand for Bloodshed something something, but again thats just speculation.

I found out that, that phone number is some where in New Brunswick, after checking the freewebs/blackawakening site's mission statement. than i checked a pay phone directory of the US and sure enough, there is the same area Code 506. This particular phone number is not necessarily on there, but at least we know the phone number is from somewhere in New Brunswick.

sorry for the rant

so this phone is ringing? hmmm... to bad nobody is there to go and pick it up.. or do we have to call it?... I wonder who Shadow recruited in that was a Bloodshed... and I thought that BHB stood for Big Headed Bob... but it could be Bloodshed something something...
edit for adding speculation
