Very Interesting. So James has cybernetic implants in his brain? Maybe that is why Kevin was calling him dead. That or he just assumed it because that was the protocol if James didn't come back...any ideas on how his captors discovered this? And why they are letting us continue to talk to him?

As for why they're letting us talk to James, well I guess they could only brainwash/interrogate him up to a point, because of the implants. I think that the notes that lead us to James ("The target was unreceptive to his internet conversation") came from LeM, in the hopes that we might succeed in jogging his mind around and completing their work for them.

As an aside, those notes also came with the ID bracelets that were stolen from Alesha's place. If the notes did come from LeM, that means one of three things: either LeM are the ones who've been periodically ransacking Alesha's place, or FACAB have been doing the ransacking and LeM has a mole there, or both groups have been paying secret visits, FACAB first to remove mementos of James, and then LeM who picked up the bracelets missed by FACAB. Given the known involvement of FACAB in trying to erase James from Alesha's life (wiping the Photobucket account, the phony therapist) I'm sneaking myself toward the LeM mole in FACAB theory. From what James said in this most recent conversation, presumably both groups would have an interest in making Alesha drop the whole issue.
