DOH! Thanx, I knew I had read it, but I couldn't recall. So he called her little Julie, is that a reference to her age (College age) or that she is the lesser Julie that he knows. Ie Big John and Little John. And he said stop digging....well if we had dug just the least amount into our (fallen) hero, we may have guessed their tactic, and picked someone else. But that would not have been acceptable, if they never really planned on meeting one of us. I dunno, I am just trying to think outloud.

I like that, and even better tell "gertrude" that we really don't believe that they have Julie(worldoyster) and that we need proof. WE know that they are reading our communications so they should also know we think she is fake.

Hang on a minute. If WorldOyster was a fake uni student who made up the story about Gertrude, then why would that wav file be on the OFFICIAL site? Bear with me ok. We know that in-game characters read these boards from when we were talking to Martha, so they would know that Julie was a fake. They would know that the whole thing was a set up right? I mean, if Julie just made up the whole thing about Gertrude calling and going off to see her etc, the in-game people would know, and that wav file wouldn't be there right? Also, Julie went to see Gertrude with her brother. Why wasnt her brother "next"?

Unless Julie was a role played by the PMs to further the plot. We weren't supposed to find that out though. We were just supposed to believe Julie lived in NYC and that we sent her to her doom. As for her brother...just an expendable "character" like you find in most stories. He probably ran or was executed or something, but wasn't mentioned because he's "secondary", if you follow.

Hey, guys, I've just been wading through fifty-some pages of posts... I'd kind of been trailing along on Sable+Shuck, saw this, and signed up.

Anyway, just something I wanted to ask: what about IP banning the PMs? I don't know if on these boards that would be configured to keep them from seeing the board at all, or just from posting, but it might alleviate the puppeting a little. Apologies if Mr. Admin already tried this.

This whole turn of events kind of reminds me of Survivor.

I'm for crying over our missing champion, and continuing to dig. There's got to be some way to salvage this. Maybe a search will come up with more document pages...? Some clue we missed?
