Unused Clues

It seems that a few people have been posting clues that they don't think have been used in random forums. I thought that here would be a good place to consolidate. So come on, folks. What hasn't been used yet? Obviously the After Dark stuff, but what else? Even some pet theory, or something you thought was too elaborate just to be used for one thing, or whatever.

just a disturbing thing

as i mentioned in elsewhere: something that disturbed me from the site of marlowe and i read in the email of Marlowe too: our launch party, which did not take place at Lounge Lover on 31st October.

why mention where a party did not take place? where was the party then? and what's with that lounge lover?

Here's a list of the things that I've got scribbled down that have been found so far, some of it has been used some of it not. Some of the un-used stuff will just be useless info.

3: 5045 - Hiding Room Safe Code
4: ibidem & confer - Hiding Room Safe Access Passwords
5: 122128 - Jons Pin Code For Voicemail
6: 07941 520789 - Mezzanine Door Code
7: 07861 328892 - Phone Number On Back Of Photo
8: SSLU13LSHJ - Jons S+S Contract Number

Not Yet Used:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

1:PT3110-04 - Jons Pathway Travel Document Ref'
2: 1587622319 - Jons Arrival Access Code
3: tt003387 - Reference To The Maltese Falcon in IMDB
4: 93535 - Number On Hornchurch Weather Map
5: 6661366 - Sables Phone Number From Hornchurch Classifieds
6: Daniel '5' - Reference To Bible in Pathway Travel Guest Books
7: mer45cedes - From Jons Comment On BBC Website From Cache

10: S1366A - Code on Tail Of Plane On Trident Air Website

There are of course the other puzzles that have been solved as well which are probably documented somewhere on this forum.

Anyone have any other info I've missed.

there's so much information and still so many leads, that i think we should try and clear out as many as we can:

so in reply to porkchop's unused clues:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

>1:PT3110-04 - Jons Pathway Travel Document Ref'
Pathway Travel 31st October 2004 - nothing to see there
>2: 1587622319 - Jons Arrival Access Code
ISBN for a book called "Art of Advertising" - a little joke from the puppet masters there i think!
>3: tt003387 - Reference To The Maltese Falcon in IMDB
a very interesting one :) with an evil temptress called brigid... another wee joke from the PM's is all i think it is though.
>5: 6661366 - Sables Phone Number From Hornchurch Classifieds
the usual 1366 from stella
>7: mer45cedes - From Jons Comment On BBC Website From Cache
>8: peugeotrv02tkn - See Above
doesnt that article also mention that a lot of people will base passwords on their football teams? im not sure we'll ever find jon car's license plate :/
>9: 988488716 - ??? (Can't remember where I've seen this but it's in my scribbled notes, any help on this one) ???
honrchurch star classifieds - "got soul?"
>10: S1366A - Code on Tail Of Plane On Trident Air Website
Stella Artois 1366, nothing there.

Thoughts

"On arrival your access code is 1587622319" is from the package tracking
page. What exactly was delivered? Im almost thinking :
You are already in receipt of your travel documentation.
Ref: PT3110-04
so the access code on arrival is for his travel. to the library?
or is this on arrival of his package? im just speculating where this
could be logically used. Every other clue was logically used.

also.

Has anyone taken the time to try and dig into the Flash from Sable and Shuck?, is it possible to download the flash and figure out if jons contract
password is even being checked server side? It may well be that his contract isnt in game.

Although he mentions the wayback machine as a way to bypass firewalls.
Now ive dug into the S+S site on wayback to see if it helps us get more information from sable and shuck somehow. But i couldnt figure out how it would help me past the cerberus, and into jons contract. or really anything else useful. The only small thing i noticed is marlowe has a Comming soon page. i somehow feel this has all been said before. the contract password and this code was just a dead end we never progressed further with cause somone found the number on the phone from the sounds and used it on the mezzanine door and we just moved on from there. jons package, inferno cargo, etc never really panned out to anything important.

I was thinking tomorrow i might throw together a walkthru of how we got to where we are, showing all the dead ends we gave up on. From start to the signs puzzle. Seems looking over the whole game as a whole might help a little. Give us more of a feel of how things have flowed from then to now. maybe open us to a perspective that may help. if anyone else wants to help throw pieces together. maybe build a new locked thread with step by step process. just an idea.

yeah this has been discussed before, and if i remember correctly people were saying
s----a = stella artois, and -1366- = the date stella brewery was formed. or something along that lines.

Ted

Ted i really think you are onto something. I believe this because stellascreen is the one site we havent really dug into properly. Its always been seen as "the advertizing end of the game" the official stella after dark site. But really when we get right down to it. Its on the same IP as the rest. Its clearly connected somehow. I would not doubt that there are additional clues in there. The movie finder and the Movie challenge both wreak of S+S and Marlowe design. While the rest of the site dont seem like much. That one section might be worth a dig. We dug into the Soul Worth Calulator and got it really nailed down. Hell shouldnt we at least try to do the same with the movie finder, and the rest of the SA:AD site.

remember it's 2 sites we're talking about, www.ad05.com and www.stellascreen.co.uk

I've looked at the film finder test to see if I could work out how to get the wickerman recommendation but alas not!!

However, I have made a note of all the questions and answers.

i don't think this has anything to do with it.

answering questions on films is not
a) going to find us Jon's password for his contract
b) tell us the order and number of the six symbols.

Magus Portals

I noticed a lot of 'identity' projects for Marlowe that isn't used either.
Wonder if there's something in likes of Magus Portals (only mention is in Pathway's site saying they upgraded to MP-jets).

Their logo seemed related to some zodiacal sign (scorpio-like?). Omni is half of pisces..
