[PUZZLE] bdoc.pdf {SD 1/business/bdoc.pdf}

Upon opening bdoc.pdf, we get a picture of some business papers. One of the papers is upside down, but you can see some writing through it. Attached is a cleaned up copy of what I got.

edit: j5 in chat thinks he has come up with a solution:

Quote:
1 hr 25 min window
after motion sensors
are turned off
and first guard leaves

The italics are the missing letters on the paper.

Edit: title clarification - Rowan

Some words about the main paper in the pic.
It translates:

ITALIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Chamber of Commerce registration (professional licence)
Permits and economical development

EMPLOYER:
Gunter Banderwine

COMPANY NAME:
Fornitori stucchi e cementi (ingrosso)
Via delle Castellani, 493 [bogus address]
54178 Firenze

FEES:
Administrative tax € 20.00
Registry tax € 204.75
Total paid € 224.75

[left column:]
Issued: Jan 1, 2005
Espires: Jan 1, [2006?].

It's a fake, but really well done. The only evident imperfection is that there is no such thing as an "Italian" chamber of commerce: every county has his own Chamber, so this should be "Camera di Commercio di Firenze".
Anyway, the important thing here is that our friend Gunter, according to this document, is the registered legal representative for this obscure company selling plaster, concrete and such - the kind of stuff that can come pretty useful if you are going to mess with sculptures, stealing/replacing/disguising one for example, in my opinion.

Or breaking through walls, then covering up the fact afterward.

The front of this paper is seen in the top corner of overheadmap_412.jpg (from the .kgb decrypt). There is an arc from line 15A to 16A but i can't seem to make the times line up for a 1hr 25 min window.

1hr25min window?

Observe the middle scrap of paper on overheapMap.jpg. Assuming the column on the left lists the same 15A-17B that the other two paper scraps list, then 15B has a time of 12:3_. The bottom scrap of paper has 15A = __:54, and 15B = 14:02. Let's assume that 15A = 13:54.

If that's the case, then 1:25 window could be satisfied by either:

3rd paper, 15B - 2nd paper,15B ==> 14:02 - 12:37,
OR
3rd paper, 15A - 2nd paper, 15B ==> 13:54 - 12:30 (1:24 min.)

If we assume the second scenario, then maybe the "A's" and "B's" represent guard entry/exit and motion sensor on/off. A: entry/on, B exit/off. Entry/exit makes sense, on/off doesn't.

_If_ that were the case, then 1-17 would represent room numbers, and might correspond to rooms in the Uffizi gallery which are numbered 1-45. Room 15 is called Leonardo, and may contain Da Vinci's works: http://www.aboutflorence.com/Museums-in-Florence/uffizi-gallery.html

There is a Virtual Uffizi online where you can see images of most of the paintings. Room 15 contains the following works:

Piero di Cosimo - "Perseus Frees Andromeda"
Leonardo da Vinci - "Adoration of the Magi"
Lorenzo di Credi - "Annunciation"
Leonardo da Vinci - "Annunciation"
Luca Signorelli - "Allegory of Fertility and Abundance"
Piero di Cosimo - "Incarnation"
Andrea di Cione called Verrocchio - "Baptism of Christ"
Francesco Botticini - "The Three Archangels"
Pietro Vannucci called Perugino - "Pietà"
Pietro Vannucci called Perugino - "Agony in the Garden"
Luca Signorelli - "Crucifix with Maria Magdalen"
Luca Signorelli - "The Trinity, the Virgin and Saints"
Luca Signorelli - "Last Supper, Agory in the Garden, Flagellation"

Hello,
just as a small clarification and after browsing through the old topics and already decrypted files:
it seems that the text ends with "...first guard arrives", not leaves.
I don't know if this is important, but just for the sake of completeness.
See this thread in the first picture.
