Hi folks, news on Jon's contract password.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There isn't one. There are two things that lead me to this conclusion.

1. The anagram "NO PASSWORD" in the flash books.
2. I've been naughty and decompiled the flash from the S&S website.

The script for the receipt password basically says "if the password is right, go to the next bit, if it's wrong, say so".

The script for the contract password basically says "whatever they enter here, it's login failed".

I think we should concentrate our energies elsewhere.

I really expected this. SO... it leads us to this.

"Staring me in the face" lead us to what exactly?

If you recall. getting to the whole "peel castle"
which brought us to the current signs puzzle, was done by decoding
ibidem and confer. AND decoding the dialed number on the cell phone.
and inputing that into the mezzanine door, then the photo.

So... back to the contract. What was this info for. It wasnt put there
just for shits and giggles. There was a point. Services option was delivered via inferno cargo, on trident air. And the code on arrival, of his package.

Which seems to have been Love, Lust and debauchery. ... for the cost of his memories.


Dont put too much merit on the decoded script saying jon is a bad guy.
The script was designed with the game in mind. Its there simply to follow the flow of the game. All this means is this. Jons contract isnt needed for
the final solve. IT doesnt exist. Its there for specuation...

we are supossed to be hacking his account for info to help him. Hackers rarely get every bit of information out of a system. The PMs never intended there to be a contract page for us to see. Simply that this info
was hidden from us and we are supossed to accept this, and try something
else.

Now that we know. One less thing to wrack our brains on. Lets just use what we did find the best we can.

as a side thought... perhaps there are more clues in the flash pages that
will lead us to numbers and signs.

Hey snake in the grass. Daniel 5. Hell lots of numbers and signs listed in there. Perhaps we can derive the final 5 clues there.

 		I'm kinda new to this, but i've just started this and i've been following the forum and wanted to know if anyone got the same thing i did. When i tried his password i tried jessca first becasue it was mentioned in another thread that maybethat was his love and it said it was incorrect. After that i tried brigid and it said that my acquisition was at risk. I have a feeling that his password has something to do with risk. I feel like he wrote something somewhere about it being risky, or worth the risk, but i cant remember.

 		Hey kiki, welcome to the boards and thanks for the enthusiasm! Unfortunately there's a couple of extremely pertinent points you managed to miss...

a) The post at the top of this thread indicates that there's no "right answer" to this puzzle - the Flash file simply doesn't allow for a correct response. This could be wrong, I guess, but...

b) This game has now finished and we're all idly kicking our heels waiting for the winner to be announced in the next couple of weeks.

I'd reccommend exploring the rest of UF and seeing if there's anything else exciting to get involved with... (clue: there is!) Smile
