They are only listed in the paper catalogue, not online, but the item code is:

Just called Toy Tokyo and talked to two different people on the phone. They *still* say they haven't heard of Perplex City or Mind Candy.... Does that mean I'm going to have to order them from the UK (or just be more patient)? Aargh!

And they say the customer is always right!! For what its worth, I've never had worse service than in one comic store (now deceased, and which will remain unnamed), where the proprietor was so protective of his magnificent perspex - wrapped 'first editions' that he wouldn't even allow you to take them down from the shelf to look at, unless you were willing to pay for them! Oh, the happy memories!!

Well put Hannah, I mean, what's a few more days with how long we've already waited... wait a minute, I seem to remember someone saying that like a month ago...oh well.
(hehe *amuses himself by trying to imagine Hannah's picture with a Scottish accent*)

It's not that we are outraged by the waiting (though we are hardly overjoyed by it) the main thing that we have a problem with is that we don't know how long we are waiting. Every day when we wake up the cards could be out, so we have to check, and get disappointed on a daily basis. If they said

I wouldn't mind as much, even if they were ready beforehand, but not released. It seems like MInd Candy is not willing to set itself a deadline, and that just smacks of pure amateurism.

...i realise that in our excitement we keep expecting the cards to arrive any day now, but MC havent actually reneged on release date promises as often as ppl are suggesting -- ignoring all the pre^n-game arguments, we were told cards would be here mid-may, then we were told there was an unexpected delay so theyd be early june -- and it's still very early june so we can afford to give them another week before that timeline has run out...

I think we have to adopt a Zen attitude here - the cards will get here when they get here.
Equally, I imagine we're under appreciative of the calm before the storm...
Sure, when the cards descend en masse, we'll finally be able to get our collective teeth into something major...but just think about it for a minute...suddenly, they'll be almost too many puzzles to keep track of simultaneously, people will be logging in day and night simply in order to have their say - it'll be madness (fun madness, but madness!).
I mean, look at the 'Gyvann' puzzle - that's nothing, it's been in circulation for about a week, it's a single puzzle - and already it has *15 pages* of discussion devoted to it. What's it gonna be like when everyone on the forum pages has got at least six cards each to dissect and discuss...?
So, maybe we should be spending this downtime preparing ourselves and the forums for the coming deluge...
It's gonna be something
