Clues from Gunter - sound loops, Mozart, what does it mean?

ok -I tried listening to the wiretap and I don't have patience for it. I suppose a write-up will be posted soon. Sorry I missed the op live last night I had to help out a friend with some emergency babysitting so I couldn't be on.

So far Gunter's most deadly characteristic is to bore me to death....

though the Mozart was ok....ack, Fur Elise is Beethoven which I remembered as soon as I posted this...what can I say, I had a long night myself.

ok, i listened to the whole thing and read Rowan's log... thanks for posting that Rowan...(though it is a bit surprising to see people talking about my photo at LRR, not that everyone wasn't very nice about it or anything....Wink)

so- it seems to me that they PMs are killing us with this looping sound clue

the loop from Ian confessing

the playing the music over and over from Gunter, even Fur Elise loops musically in a way, as any beginner piano student knows well, as does Twinkle Twinkle....which is Mozart in case you didn't know that

maybe the music in the SD cards?

Also, the spinning alphabet around the images loops in a way...

So, what are they telling us????

So, WHAT are we missing?

-----
edit again - thanks TL-- I was editing and listening and didn't even see the replies... I think I will step away from the keyboard, get some coffee, go for a long walk and generally just wake up.

Bor-ing. So, Nisha talks non-stop. Gunter is off his nut. The only thing I gleaned from this excercise was the name Sigmund in Seattle.

I did take note of the comment Gunter made to Nisha that shoehorns into my belief that Nisha is behind all this: "You double-crossed me."

And Fur Elise is by Beethoven.

[Edit] Oh yeah, Gunter chose this music because he thought it was funny. Fur Elise= for a lease.

There may be something to it all.
Gunther talked about some random things but there were numbers in there. "5 pieces" etc.

From the chat logs:
[03:38] <GateKeeper> we kind of expressed out uncertainty to nisha, and she seemed convinced we'd discover more when reviewing the tapes and stuff
[03:38] <GateKeeper> out = our

So a couple of things:
1) we don't have an SD card this week, just the e(vil)Cube and maybe this stuff.
2) The loop of Ian is repeated 7 times, then xx seconds of silence. (could that be ASCII code?)
3) goes to start a puzzle thread.

sound files

j5 - just remind me did we do anything with any of the sound files on the SD cards? The music that was there? Didn't Gunter say something about "listening to the songs"?

Other than the filenames for one of the puzzles, I don't think we looked at them much. I do recall getting the help of one of our "golden eared" members (can't remember who exactly) for the Will-star audio track, but there was nothing there.

Time to recruit?

I think all of the songs are by the Audio Agents. But the website seems to not contain any actual information. The group seems to be affiliated with 4-4 records. But that was about as far as i dug into this last time i looked at the audio.

Some things that I caught after listening to the wiretap...

When Nisha says "Just gimme a hint Gunter, just give us a hint .... what do you know about the lease Ian signed." Gunter replied "What do I know about what? The inside?" I'm not sure if that was an honest error of if that was maybe a hint?

Also, he then says "I would never touch you unless you ask me ... and you never ask" which is just weird.

I feel like there have to be some hints in there somewhere. I don't know where Szigmond Erdlemann living in Seattle is supposed to lead us. Are we being led to believe that he is behind the heist?

Sigmund may be easier to get to talk about the heist than Gunter.

SPEC: Could the guy Nisha is seen interrogating in the trailer be Sigmund?

The question being is the trailer Meta? Or has it happened yet... Particularly considering that the image of Nisha wearing the sunglasses is part of the "Cover Art" on VKoC.
