Just want to add, this is definitely a Virtuquest game, they are the only people on the net who have my Number, it can't be anyone else. Very Happy

Since this has not yet been posted;
When I got the call I made a note of the phone number and did a reverse directory lookup. It seems to be from a cell number in the San Jose area. No further info was available to a non-phone company/non-police person who doesn't want to pay any money for information.
I agree with the DO NOT RUN spec, and that this has a Virtuquest feel (and good on them!!!).
Looking forward to seeing more activity later this week. Thanks for finding all those pictures.

Kona, enaxor was able to get the number the caller used and I did the same thing with the reverse lookup. I called the number and it's Dial Pad.

Nice way to hide your location.

Thanks for finding this out, I could'nt find out anything cause the number never registered on my phone, all I got on my screen was the word "call", and when I checked my received calls, it said "no number". I believe this is cause they called from USA to a UK Cell Phone.

just for the record, there is only one point in the logans run screenplay where "do not" is seen, and it says "do not decant" on a sign. Never are the words "do nothing" used together

Doesn't look like the donotrun.com has anything to do with this. It just seems like someone's 'for fun' page.

And for what it's worth, I've located another cityofdomes page

although its not in the actual screenplay, in the film, the computer says "do not resist" to Logan, at the end, when it suffers cognitive dissonance(?)

so the last words are: by logan "there is no sanctuary" and the last words by the computer/dome controller is " do not resist!", before blowing up....

You can use an anonymous account on the ftp server... yet it's not filled with any documents yet. Possibly they will fill it up later?

Cause I can't find the link to get in there. There is'nt a hyperlink for a chatroom for this forum.

If someone could give me the url, I will happily pop over.

Okay, so I've been offline for a while. Had to recover from the psychic backlash I experienced from Urban Hunt. Wink

Anyway, got the phone call from City of Domes on Thursday and finally got a chance to get back over here, only to find 200+ posts on it and a board already started.

Man, it's good to be back home. Smile

Anyway, let me throw in my two cents' worth of spec here:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I've not signed up for any other game, nor have I given my cell number to anyone in relation to ARGs, and the only other game I have played was Urban Hunt. Maybe Dave Szulborski is somehow involved.

And for the record, Logan's Run was one of the very first DVDs I ever purchased. I'm *so* looking forward to this ARG.

Hate to bust your bubble there Tux, but it can't be Virtuquest alone - I got a phone call about the City of Domes accepting new citizens myself, and the only people I gave my landline number to (at least, in regards to ARGs) is 4orty2wo, back when I was running Relay Station Alpha for the Beekeepers.

(Oh, and RS Alpha is *still* up and running - just ask for "Private Walker" Wink Also, RS Alpha's comm options have been expanded - I now have a chatter (aka mobile/cell). PM me if you want the number.)

Wow!! Sounds like this game is bigger than I thought! There must be a massive collaboration going on.

Expect the unexpected! Cool
