Honestly though, at this point, I don't know what the hell is going on with it. Wait and watch, I guess.

Well, I've just read through all 32 pages of this thread as well as numerous linked webpages & blogs.

Despite the fact I live in Melbourne...& as an expat Kiwi am intrigued about the NZ angle...I don't think I'm going to sign up for Neurocam. I dunno...I just feel uncomfortable about it all.

Besides, the neurocam website is currently returning a 404.

The neurocam site has changed since yesterday. Yesterday the home page had a flash movie that said get out of your mind. Today it is just written as plaintext vertically down the page. The registration page yesterday had the same text in a smaller font. Just thought I would mention the changes.

This is interesting.....just read through all this before I signed up, reconsidering it now. Dunno what it was, a bit stoned at the time, but it really freaked me out.

It's intriguing and confusing and my gf is begging me to sign up for it. I think she hates me.

edit: That pic a few pages back scared the living daylights out of me.

I don't think that neurocam is an ARG. I've been lurking and snooping since about december a few weeks ago their site was inaccsessible to anyone but members. I also read the LJs of members some of whom have since dissapeared. I think that This is a serious orginization an anarchy or fight club of a sort by joining you are seling yourself to their cause. Hundreds of member performing hundreds of seemingly inconsequential tasks until these tasks combine to form something big.. Beware of neurocam. It's rise is soon.

I for one have decided to pursue becomming an operative. I have a perception test that I have to complete this monday in which I describe in detail my entire day making sure to note any unusual events. After that, we'll see where the rabbit hole leads.

Roight then,

I've decided to grab ahold of my prom date and take er out on the floor so to speak. I signed up to be an operative tonight. Filled out the info and now it's a 300+ word essay, wrote that effer up too. I live in NH USA though so I can guarantee you I'll get busywork. But hey, just thought I'd post my 300+ plus word essay on what I could bring to neurocam for you guys to read
