Summer's here!
Category: me, 02:28 PM
It's a lovely sunny day today in Perplex City - the sky is so blue, with little fluffy white clouds, just like a child's drawing. Had a free morning, so went for a stroll in the Park, where they're already putting up the seating for the PCAG matches and the concerts later in the month - so exciting! There are tiny wild strawberries growing in the bushes to the north of the Hausam theatre - they looked so pretty I didn't pick any, just looked at them. And... couldn't help thinking how nice it'd be to have someone to share the walk with. Actually, I have kind of a crush on someone, but I don't think he's noticed. Not sure he knows I even exist...

And so begins Scarlett's descent into an Emo teen blogger

Someone should probably tell Scarlett that if she's interested in a boy she should run up to him, punch him on the arm and run off again... Used to be the way things worked when I was younger...

Takes me back a bit.....but what about kicking stuff in the girls general direction.
She's better of just giggling and blushing whenever he shows up, and then getting one of her friends to go over and embarass him by asking "Will you go out with my Scarlett?" when he's with all of his mates.
Go to go, the bell's just rang!!!

Oh, were the Sentinel ever to publish my 'View from Earth' article (I fear it got lost in e - traffic), Scarlett would weep. The age of innocence, eh?
I may just have to post the damn thing here as a corrective to all this boundless positivity
But, really, I'm happy for her. Keeps her off the streets and all that. Which is more than you can say for her sister...

I bet she loves Kurt, and has scrawled Scarlett McAllister all over everything. Next blog entry... "Saw him again today, sitting in the park. He is sooooooooo dreamy. I've written a poem about how I feel..."

Funny how england's weather is also a "lovely sunny day", a nice change from the rain and clouds we've had for weeks!
Coincidently, someone I work with bought back some (first-of-the-season) British-grown strawberries! hmmm...
I swear the cube is buried in the Queen's back-yard!

Alas, poor Scarlett. It's so nice to know Perplexians have just the same amounts of teenage angst as we do.
Perhaps she likes someone at HQ here.

Heh heh, get in there Adrian!
That could never work though surely? Inter-dimensional is about as long distance as you can get...

This may just me be reading way 2 much into it, but the opening line

seems to be just like that whipsmart icecream website.

I know what you mean, it reminded me of that too, but I'm not sure what to make of it!

I've been waiting to see someone bring this up since the headline "Summer Skywatch Launches" appeared in the "More Headlines" section of the Sentinel.
And now we have this...
My impression is that we should start looking for those sky writers mentioned on the PerplexCity web page( index2) now

That's never stopped any crushes before.

I suppose we could sit poking the clouds for hours bit without direction, that site seems connected but looks like it'd be hard to find anything there ourselves without further clues or us finding out something we should already know. Goodness knows I've spent long enough trying to play well-known tunes on the trees.
