One theme kept on coming up - the idea of taking someone else with me. I've talked it through with Kurt and we think it's a good idea. (Well, I persuaded him it was a good idea....) He's not too keen on doing the actual "lifting" himself, but if I say that I've just come to accompany him (he's nervous about confronting his deep spiritual needs, obviously) then I have an excuse for hanging around outside during prayer-meeting. Also, he'll be able to give useful advice about which one to take, unhooking it, etc etc. So, it's agreed. We've called the Recons. We'll be back there on Friday.

Now that I've actually decided to do it, I find I've got butterflies in my stomach....

Hope I've not trouted this, can't find it. Also, that was MY suggestion, didn't name check me huh Violet?

NOW she gets butterflies? She really is mad. Nice to know that she's actually thinking about the risks this time, and she'll have Kurt as backup in case she needs to escape. That's if she's not been brainwashed already.

I wouldn't take it personally Steve. I don't think you were the only one to send that suggestion.

I added to my email that she could go with Kurt... Say that he is not comfortable with the Recon ideals but you believe that perhaps if you showed hime around they may come to understand the philosophy when presented through your own words and eyes.

I hardly believe I was the only one to come up with such a cunning deceit.. Rolling Eyes
