 		Convo with Garlo
I just had a YIM conversation with Garlo. Apparently he was trying to recruit me. Here's the conversation:

city_streat : Will you help us or side with brat
axysdenyd: Well, if you are not going to tell me what you're planning to do with the girl, I will have to decline
city_streat : We want to find the information then she is free
axysdenyd: How do you plan on extracting the information from the girl?
city_streat : Undetermined.We dont know how
city_streat : It would be wise to take our side
axysdenyd: From what I have seen so far, you have kidnapped two people. I appreciate your goals, but I do not think I agree with your methods
city_streat : It is not as bad as you think.I would tell you but know i cant trust you
axysdenyd: From what I have seen, I will have to side with brat-sampson. He seems to have everyone's best interests in mind
city_streat : You are so Naive
axysdenyd: If you insist
city_streat : You are missing out on the bigger picture
axysdenyd: And what is the bigger picture?
city_streat : Trust?You No I cant
axysdenyd: Well, if you are unwilling to tell me the bigger picture, then I'll never see it
axysdenyd: But, that is neither here nor there
city_streat : If I tell you , You will tell Brat.Chaos will befall
axysdenyd: Then you don't really have a chance for convincing us, now do you?
city_streat : Brat will really cause chaos.He is so iggnorant
axysdenyd: Perhaps, but I've always said the end never justifies the means
city_streat : If only you knew what I and Iris know
axysdenyd: And what is that?
city_streat : Will you never tell Brat a word of it
axysdenyd: I cannot say until I know what the information is
city_streat : Then you may never know
axysdenyd: So be it. I will do what I can to help Iris, but it seems the best way to do that is by helping brat
city_streat : Ha.Brat thinks that he is "The Chosen One".Yeah right.Someone else is helping this case more than him
axysdenyd: Oh? And who is that?
city_streat : I cant trust you with that information
axysdenyd: Then it seems we are at an impasse
city_streat : I would trust you if you sided with me like an allie of yours
axysdenyd: Well well, a bit of intrigue. Would you be speaking of kraed?
city_streat : Try Chippy
axysdenyd: Ah. I was wondering why he was so quiet
city_streat : Kraed is you most loyal.He wouldnt even speak to me unlike brat
axysdenyd: I see no harm in speaking to you. You always have to know what the other side is thinking

city_streat : That is true.Garlo knew nothing of SAC until I came to him.My reason for meeting with him?I needed my revenge on SAC.They cost me years of my life and my own daughter.I asked to stage a kidnapping
Mack: . . . I see.
Mack: This certainly changes things.
city_streat : What you must understand is that SAC are an organization which is against the free will and choice of the Human Race.If they see something as being an imperfection in out past it is changed
Mack: . . . You mean they're travelling back in time and trying to change history?
city_streat : I dont know.That is what I suspect.We need to find what exactly the gate does.If it does send you back in time my next mission will work perfectly.I will go back and make sure SAC never was founded by my father
Mack: Be careful - I don't want to see you caught in the Grandfather Paradox!
city_streat : Don't worry
Mack: Well, I do. It's one of the horror stories of time travel - someone wishes he'd never been born, so he goes back in time to kill his grandfather, thus prefenting one of his parents from boeing born, and thus preventing him from being born . . . but since he's never born, he can't go back in time and kill his grandfather, so his gradfather survives, and, well . . . you get the picture.
city_streat : I will kill my father.Just before he founds it.I was alive back then
Mack: But that could lead to a paradox right there. You go back in time and kill your father just befor ehe founds SWAC, so SAC doesn't exist today, so you have no reason to go back in time and kill him, so he doesn't die and SAC is founded . . . and once again, Paradox.
city_streat : You are smart.Any other ideas?
Mack: H'm. Well, do you know of any research projects that the SAC is doing that your father's taken a heavy interest in?
city_streat : SAC studied Icebergs a while back and my father was the centre stage in the research.He also studied early German tanks and planes,the atomic bomb.And Biological Weapons
Mack: H'm. Well, if some of those projects were sabotaged - or perhaps eliminated - that might be a good start - and it might give us breathing room. Some small-scale actions to keep the SAC off balance while we try to figure out what would hurt him the most. And if it could be done with an air-strioke . . . you said he liked German aircraft and tnaks, yes?
city_streat : Yes
Mack: If we could build, say, some aircraft modeled on the old P-38J Lightning produced by Lockheed . . . the Lightning was one of the top Allied multifunction aircraft during the Second World War. Dogfighting, ground attack, bombing runs . . . you name it, it did it. I actually remember a story about a single squadron of P-38s - sixteen planes - that got separated fromt he bomber group they were supposed to be escorting. Since they couldn't find the bomber group again, they decided, "What the hell, let's see what materiel we can find - and blow it up!"
city_streat : One Thing.If this paradox exists.Why hasnt it affected any of SAC's previous missions?
Mack: Well, it could be that they're making small changes so far - a word in someone's ear here, a missing paper or two there - things that really wouldn't attract too much attention.
Mack: Anyway, about that Lightning squadron . . . by the time they had to head home, they'd knocked out two airfields, sixteen ammo dumps, a column of tanks, three rail yards, 192 German aircraft, eighteen boxcars, six locomotives, twenty tanker cars, three fuel depots, and - if I remember correctly - a Gestapo headquarters!
Mack: Number of Lightnings lost from that squadron? ZERO.
city_streat : Nice
Mack: Oh yeah. If you can find the book "Fork-Tailed Devil: The P-38", by Martin Caidin, get it. It's an excellent history of the Lightning, from the XP-38 prototype to the last model produced, the P-38M "Night Lightning" (which was painted black for nighttime use.
Mack: And I think it might help to unnerve your father if it were P-38s that were knocking out those projects of his . . . you know, now that I think about it, I think I've got a good way to use the gate!
city_streat : I like striking at night.I am the stealth queen.Well I did escape from SAC didnt I?
Mack: Heh, yeah.
city_streat : How?
Mack: You see, a lot of P-38s were dismantled towards the end of the Vietnam War - hacked apart with axes and crushed by bulldozers - but they had hundreds and hundreds of planes to dismantle. If it were possible to bring sixteen of them forward in time - one or two at a time - you might be able to establish a Lightning squadron to hit the SAC with.
Mack: And - if it were one or two at a time - it might not be noticed.
