The Pirate Code... the Vibration13 Treasure Hunt! Check out this flashy puzzle. Captain Elmo needs your help deciphering his code books after a bout of amnesia.
Shouldn't be too difficult for you guys, but theres some nice details, animation and graphics going on. And there's a few prizes - be the first to solve it!

There's a picture of what looks to be the peg placement on page 4, but I'm not quite sure what it means, because there's already letters on the one that pops up that are in different positions than the ones on the picture.
EDIT:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Also on that page it says "a b clockwise" written lightly. You can see it if you turn the page slightly. Maybe it's a key for the puzzle in the picture...?
Pretty damn spiffy so far.

Solved a little more:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
On the page with the tic tac toe games, the box in the upper right corner reads like this:
(letters I didn't get are marked with an underscore)
_ea_e_ boa_ _
Elmo : O
Tayto : X
Now, the question box asks this:
Who won the best of ten OXO _amfs? (Not sure about that last part)
Enter in Tayto as your answer, and another window named "Triangulate" will pop up, but I have no clue what to do beyond that.

I think the "_amfs" part you have is supposed to be "games", and you put an f rather than an e.

I thought that too, but I wasn't sure, because I decoded the whole thing around the Captain's name, and the only way I found that out was because when I entered it, it said "No, Elmo lost. Try again." The key I made up shows that it's an f instead of an e that is used in the puzzle, but it's possible that it could just be a spelling error.

Now if you really want to see how the cyper thingys go you can follow the following links, but if you do then your just a dirty stinking cheater
Only use as a last resort, I mean they're not too hard!
Edit - oops the cypher thing was kinda wrong, but thanks to aznxasazn its fixed now. Doesn't change the answer, but this one get's a perdy 'correct code' message.

Just found this about 2 hours ago as I've been on vacation all the while. It was fairly easy to solve. The most difficult thing was locating the actual island name since I'm not well versed on geography in that part of the world and I only have 1 very old (and not very good) atlas with me right now.
Sixsidedsquare: According to the convention used, your "Elmocypher" is slightly wrong though it doesn't affect the answer. If you do it conventionally correct, you get the message "That's the correct code key!"
