Is it me, or do the <, >, ^, and v look like they are indicating direction? I am not so sure about the + and *, other than delimeters of some kind.

Seems to be ASCII. If you paste it into a document the right side of the cube fluctuates. My first guess was excell, but I can make any sense of it. (* is X) (/ divide) etc

Sorry for poining out the obvious, but the cube has roman numerals/tally of 1 , 2 and 3 I II III. A bit like a dice>

Im sorry for all the posting, but ideas keep on popping into my head.
Taking a look at the last puzzle, Ancient belief system waqs the key.
That means that this puzzle might be "Encoded". Ive looked at Hexx and Octal, but no luck.

It becomes distorted in Word/Wordpad because of line wrap. If you widen the margins, change the font to a monospace one (eg Courier), and drop the font size so that each line ends within the margins, the text file in Word looks just like the one in my browser.
Lovely ASCII cube....probably more to it than that, but I'm awful at cryptography.

Some of us (on CHAT) are working on the idea that the arrows are directions and they can be followed to lay out on long string, which can then be transcribed as letters and spaces... don't hold your breath ; )

My first impression was of one of those annoying typewriter pictures which were around in the 70's which you can now do in seconds on any decent WP. Hidden picture in the data if we highlight some of the code etc????

So what's the rest of the image? Is this cube in a display case? on an altar/pedestal?

I am not entirely convinced that the file *is* a string of tokens, but if you take each ASCII symbol or number as a token, here are the frequencies (attached).

Anyone notice how there's an @ at the end of the file? Any idea what this could mean ?
Edit: There's definitely a pattern. If you start at the top left corner with the 'arrow', and keep following the arrows, it'll lead you all the way through the cube, following at the bottom through a zigzag, then right up to the '@'.
