[INFO] Access Forbidden?

Wierd. I pinged perplexcitysentinel.com and got 67.19.175.242 and its IP address. And when I put the IP in the URL it cames up as access forbidden. May be nothing but just wanted to point it out.

I applaud your creativity, but it looks like they are simply using something called "virtual hosts." The latest HTTP specification (v1.1, which is actually quite old now), defines a way of running multiple hosts from a single web server instance. When your browser wants to pull up perplexcitysentinel.com, it not only connects to the IP address, but also sends a "Host:" header telling what host name you specifically typed in the box. When a browser connects that uses HTTP 1.0 or which sends a host name it does not understand, you get served up a default website. In this case, it looks like they have no default website--the default is just a locked down directory.

As a note...

Whois.sc says that the IP 67.19.175.242 is affiliated with 12 domain names (use BugMeNot for a free login). To check all the domains beyond the first 3 costs something like $30 per month.

I haven't been as active in the past couple weeks, but I can only come up with 10 domains from that IP.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Individual sites at 67.19.175.242:
Whipsmartice.com
Perplexcitysentinel.com
Opendesignagency.com
Perplexcityacademy.com
Thescarlettkite.com
Quirkyacuity.com

Site name variants at 67.19.175.242:
Thescarletkite.com
Pxcacademy.com
Pxcsentinel.com
whipsmarticecream.com

Other game sites, but at different IPs (divided by IP group):
Perplexcity.info
Perplexcity.com
Perplexcity.net
Perpexcity.com

projectsyzygy.com

firebox.com

mindcandydesign.com

And of course a handful of likely, but not yet hosted, future sites I came up with from my search:

Catbitetours.com
Ceretin.com
Cheapceretin.com
Perplexcitybankingcorporation
Recedacube.com
Rollfordamage.com
Marmalejocollege.com
Gladstonecity.com
Ascendancypoint.com
Taversen.com
Lostcube.com

Another source of possibly getting the 12 for free would be Webhosting.info's Power WHOIS function. Here's the resulting page for IP 67.19.175.242, but their database doesn't refresh as well as Whois.sc's, so it only lists 3 sites at that domain right now.

I know people are willing to pay a heck of a lot of money for this game so far, so is anyone willing to pay to figure out the last two domains at 67.19.175.242? There's potential for them to be one or two different new sites, or just alternatives to the known domain names. Otherwise, we could wait or stumble into them eventually.

-Edited for Spoilers

Maybe some of those should be spoiler-ized. I, for one, would not like to resort to DNS tricks to figure out what in-game domain names have yet to be launched.

Those are only the sites I bothered jotting down. There are probably a couple dozen more seemingly insignificant mentions from the game that have related domains.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Just look at catbitetours.com, it's barely mentioned in Violet's blog, but it's a reserved site. I couldn't Google any other legitimate Catbite to tour.

http://scarlettkite.com
http://scarletkite.com

That would make up the two missing.

Look here for a start. Then look here - the cunningly named beginners thread will help you hit the ground running.
