I thought of the letters being coded in binary. So then step and wisdomwarrior, having the capital letters represent 1 and the non capital letters represent 0 got the binary string:

Alison stopped in IRC at about 2:30pm central today.
she wanted to get things moveing in regards to harry. so i sent him this email as directed by alison.

I'll get right to the point. We know where the "ARM" is.
But before we give you that information we need you to help us.
First we need to know how you got out of the "ARM" without the password.
second you need to call Lyle and tell him everything you know.
don't ask why we need these things just be assured we are working
towards the same goal.
finally you need to come to IRC ASAP.

Looks like Harry is supporting Team Tollin - just got an email from him (harryavelonSPLATexcite.com)
it was blank, except the subject was "BLANK check"

At First I took BLANK check at face value.. but I had a feeling in the back of my head that there was something more to it than just that. And there is.....

So I looked up all word phrases that end in check to see if any stood out. I then tried those as webpage URLs and lo and behold....
