I'm noticing there is a growing opinion that people believe they need to send an email to Coby3 telling him they want to be a runner, a citizen, or a sandman.

For one, if we were supposed to tell Coby3 that information, then *everyone* would have gotten the email from him. The PMs have all of our email addresses. This comminique wouldn't be a hidden puzzle. And if it were, then only people who emailed Coby3 would get the response. People who didn't email him are getting the response, but others are not.

Secondly, Coby continually says: "The person for whom I write for" and and "Can you trust the person for whom I write?" So he's referring to only one side.

Which side is it?

From a simple process of elimination, we can determine that.

It's not the Sandmen, cause that's what SMHQ is for.

It's not just regular citizens, because he talks about 'exploring, going on, to face challenges and difficulties'

So it must be the Runners.

and also, might as well use the language he uses -- his email validates "Searchers", NOT 'Runners'

Sounds to me like he is saying he is writing on behalf of some other entity. Coby is just a messenger for someone above him, but his message is directed to all three types of citizens asking them to choose just one.

i was thinking sanctuary

So was I.

After some heavy reading it seems to me that it has something to do with sanctuary. Citizens who are happy as citizens don't believe in sanctuary; they have no need for it as they are happy in the city of domes. Only those who are searchers or runners appear to believe in sanctuary as a place of immunity from execution (see http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Dimension/5357/sanctuary.htm).

While Logan searches for sanctuary he and Jessica meet up with some characters who in turn set challenges and offer further punchkeys to help them on their quest to find sanctuary.

Perhaps the sending of "some physical elements to help you along your way" that coby3 refers to in the mail has some reference to these punchkeys and there use. They may give clues that eventually lead to sanctuary.

Just my thoughts Smile

"Searchers" could just be an updated term for "Runners". If there is some sort of search for an 'outside the dome' by those who are not fleeing impending Renewal.

IMO- the puzzels will get harder as time moves along as they are quite slow and not that bad now at this stage I think EVERONE who participates is a sandman. Later this, it seems, will be changed and we might have grpus otherwise whats the point? If it gets nasty, thats just people being not so cool.

And have we even discussed the new movie? If so, what thread?

whenever I click on COD link I am just brought back to the welcome screen, both in the first hallucimill page, index2, and index. I never get a message that says I am unauthorized to view a certain page. Where do you see the message?

It's just an error in the website guys, it may not use cookies or something and it "forgets" that you are logged in. This is nothing. I am sure of it.

Bliss.
