 		If Kristin would be involved in 4orty2wo's next game, she would have to stay as like, a background person. I don't think any of us who played ILB could mistake her voice if we heard it ANYWHERE in an ARG-esque atmosphere.

I actually think you overestimate our ability to recognize voices.

Halo fanatics were speculating all over the place that Jen Taylor was playing Melissa. Or Durga.

And I don't know if you've played on Live with Kristen, but she really sounds nothing like Melissa in real life (she sounds like a grown-up Sleeping Princess IMHO).

And if you listen to the demo reel on her website, she doesn't really sound like any of them. It's as much vocal mannerisms and inflections as the actual quality of the voice that helps us recognize someone's voice.

If Kristen were, say, speaking with an accent, I rather doubt we'd all be certain it was her.

I love listening to voice reel's (not just Kristen's) when I'm bored. I also like Kerry Butler's (she's been in a lot of Broadway stuff, as well as some soap operas). Sometimes they just pick such funny commercial-type things to include. Razz

Agreed, over XBL she does sound different, though I wouldn't use that as an accurate ezample.
As some people who have just begun to try out "skype", or other high quality voIP services have realized, what we really sound like and what we come off as over XBL is very different. At least for a few of us. And her ability to modulate her own voice may not have been fully explored in ILB, seeing as she did what.... Melissa and Yasmine. I think it's safe to say she might still fool us as a VA.

Though I thought Kristen also wrote? If true she still can very easily participate without beeing identified or even suspected until curtain call. Rolling Eyes
