"poop on a stick it better then cheese on a stick"

hmmmm, to break this down:

"poop on a stick"
a declaration, no article, so we're speaking of the general concept of poop on a stick

"it better then"
now, due to lack of puncuation, i'm not sure what "it" is reffereing too, for sake of argument, let's just say it refers to "poop on a stick" so to follow with "better", well, there's no verb, so we'll have to assume that "it" really should be "its". oh dear. "then", hmmm, that seems out of place. i'm not going to presume that shinlee69 really meant "than" so perhaps "it" was merely a typo of "if" giving us "if better then" which isn't proper syntax in any computer language i know

"cheese on a stick"
again, no article, so the universal idea of "cheese on a stick"

an alternative interpretation with puncuation:

Poop on! A stick? It. Better then, cheese on a stick.

Impressive analysis, CJ.

I think you may finally have made the whole thing intelligible.

Which is a mistake. These days, to be intelligible is to be found out, but to talk nonsense is much cleverer than to listen to it. One should always be a little improbable.

Opacity: the true sign of intelligence. (AT LEAST ON THE INTERNET.)

Aside: Phaedra, I'm in IRC right now for the first time ever, because I figured out how to make ChatZilla open in a Firefox tab. I'm like eight months too late but whatever. Thing is, you made it sound like there are all sorts of awesome erudite literary discussions going on in there and stuff. More like lots of nothing discussions going on. I'm disappointed; I thought I could at least maintain a decent conversation on everyone's favorite Proust novels.

Well, I'm afraid those sort of discussions only happen when I'm there.

Ooops.

Did I say that out loud?

Oh, I'm sorry, Sam. Didn't check the forum again after I replied to you, otherwise I would have slipped in there and tried to get something started. Wink

You spell and create your signature exactly like shinlee69 - very suspicious. Are you aware there is a rule against multiple sign-ons at this forum?

Yes indeed.

In fact, registering multiple accounts is a bannable offense.

[raises eyebrow]

I think this thread has fulfilled its destiny. Poop and cheese and stick and all.

Locky!
