/me checks airline prices to SoCal for the 29th and starts crying. Crying or Very sad

/me is reminded of the fact she only lives on the East Coast because she got dumped Evil or Very Mad

and contacts Virgil to see if he has any suggestions on how to get even with her ex. Twisted Evil

/me comforts herself with that fact that it's sure to be hot and smoggy there and that another earthquake will strike and SWALLOW YOU ALL INTO THE PACIFIC OCEAN.

/me knows she is slightly bitter (and watch - Ian will turn out to be the bad guy!) but still hopes that you all will have tons of fun and report back so that she can live vicariously through you.

Okay, maybe not tons of fun. A medium amount of fun would be fine too Very Happy

You know rowan, you wrote that yesterday (Thursday) at 7:30. And 5 1/2 hours before that message, we (Southern California) experienced a magnitude 5.3 earthquake. The shaking only lasted for 5 seconds where I live but the people that were above it had to go through 3 straight minutes of shaking. luckily it was only strong enough to only knock down things from the shelves, desks, etc.

I also got the email. It almost got swallowed by my spam folder. So check there if you haven't recieved one yet. (It's possible they just invited the So Cal people.) I RSVP'ed for me and a guest, though I don't know who I'm taking yet.
