While I was looking through the source code of cfrg.us

I found a few interesting things..

I found reference to a few usernames of people who posted articles on the page here they are

PolyDeuces
SpeakNoEvil
TheAwakenedOne
Merovingian - has a email address of merovingianSPLATsample.com

I looked at their profile but not much useful information... You can look at their profile by clicking on their name.

Yeah, these were the names I found when I was trying to break into one of their accounts. I focused mainly on Polydeuces, because he is one half of the pair of gemini, along with Castor. I tried all combinations of passwords using castor and gemini, to no avail.

As far as merovingian goes - I tried to visit the sample.com domain that's listed as his email, but it's not owned by anybody. It redirects to a sample home page, and I can't ping its IP.

I agree it's all fake... but unless I missed something, can I ask how you stumbled upon this site? I'm guessing there are tons of sites in the world with fake WHOIS info...

I just went to the site Jimhillmedia.com and based on the content, style, and appearance of the site it didn't seem to have any characteristics of an in-game site. Furthermore, a search on Google for sites that link to Jimhillmedia.com (http://www.google.com/search?q=link:Jimhillmedia.com) show that this is probably an actual website and not an in-game site.

Also might be Pollux which is the Latin for Polydeuces (or Polyx if you "xover222" Polydeuces, that is, replace "deuces" by "x".)

..or maybe this just goes too deep for you to tell.

Perhaps the Acheron folk have put a lot of time and effort into making things look good and legit..

Could be.

Lets hope so. Very Happy

Well, Reid has pointed out Jill Hill Media from one of the August messages at the Centre for Responsible GOV...

The other one "UFOria" Also has a link on it which leads Here which contains the poem Invictus by William Ernest Henley.

Oddities abound...
the e-mail link on the left side of the page is for "btubill@mindspring.com"
but in the page source is the e-mail address: NTXSPLATinviticus.com.

Go figure...

fabdisbabe

I beginning to think that Michelle Smith is a real person.

I found was peeking at the discussion board that Jim Hill Media has, which is mostly Disney topics. One of the users is 'fabdisbabe' who's ezboard profile is listed here. Seems she's been around for two years - pretty impressive setup if it is fake. Also lists an email for editorSPLATjimhillmedia.com - I was gonna write an in-game note, but what do you really put in things like that?
